PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Hey all!!,

Ok so I know what everyone must be thinking "Chris, your a maniac!! what kind of advise are you giving telling everyone to be followers!!?" LOL Ok let me explain.

It's more like "Be a Follower, While Taking Action and Leading Your Own Life" So what do I mean by that exactly? Well in my experience I have found that the fastest and most efficient way to succeed is to find someone who is already living your dream and model them.

For me, my mentor was trial and error and failure itself and I will tell you it was a slow, grueling process!. And many times I just simply didn't take action because after all that failure I didn't really know anymore if that dream I had in my head was even real so I lived out my dreams vicariously through reading salespage after salespage and jumping from one false promise to another and stayed in a state of learning until I broke free from failures clutch and took control. The sad reality is I was one of the lucky ones because I pressed on and never gave up. Unfortuanlety that isn't the case for many because failure's graveyard is full of the dreams of people who have succumbed to it's pressure.

Sometimes we don't take action because deep down we aren't really sure if our dream is real (the "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality). Well a mentor has proved it because they are already living it and not only that but they have already carved the path for you and made the failures in advance so you don't have to and this stacks the deck in your favor immensly.

Think of a mentor as your flashlight through failure's graveyard.

So yes! be a follower! follow people who have already taken action and succeeded and who have already proven your dream is a reality, then be a leader in your own life and TAKE ACTION.

Find a mentor and focus on that and only that, stop buying product after product because that will only keep you in a state of learning and confusion. It's time you move from a state of learning to a state of implementing.

I wasn't thinking "Chris you're a maniac. I was reminded of Tony Robbins, and one of his main strategies: "success leaves clues, so find someone who has achieved what you want to achieve and model them". It's much easier to model someone who agrees to help you, than to model a stranger from afar, where it's easy to misunderstand their approach; although even that can lead to great success for the unusually persistent.

Awesome post! I admire how you are able to articulate your theory (back it up with easy to understand examples). It's belief/certainty that influences results in everything in life and the easiest way I've found to believe that extraordinary things are possible, especially in IM is by constantly modelling guys/girls that have already done it. I guess it's sort of like how after Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile, the next year dozens of people did it.

I agree some point that you say.
Be a follower.
Then do things that you can do.
Have a plan and simple formulas
Increase knowledge and experience about things necessary.
Accept and face with your challenges and fails. Learn and overcome them.
Always remember lessons that you learned.
Work hard for your plan become true.

I love this.. sometimes, its good to copy how successful people make it. Copy their method, follow their steps.. it really saves lots of time. In short, always be open and humble to learn and follow these people.

You're so right! Having a mentor is a wise choice. I regret I didn't get one, when I startet in the IM niche.. Having a mentor cuts your learning curve by factor 10
