I think this is my favorite part of your mantra.

I was just talking to someone last night who is up for a job promotion. They were concerned over the fact that they don't have a firm grasp on spreadsheets and other office applications.

I suggested to them to go take a class at the community school. These are usually quick and not too pricy, but the main point was that with this extra course under the belt it eliminated the uncertainty in being more than qualified for the job.

I give some credit to Stuart Lichtman book but also Tony Robbins, Think and Grow Rich and the movie The Secret.

Made a small move in right direction after Friday's chant, raising price on my training course by $300.00 on Friday. Will work my way up to $2K range :-)

Whatever amount it is, it should be believable and should seem achievable to you.
Many thinks.. yeah it's possible but deep inside they are thinking "no, I can't do it. it's not possible
the way I am."
One good way to change that mindset is visualization and also affirmation sor what you call chanting.

I too have some goals for this year.

Hi James,

You can do it, I was also doing 15-20k per month up until Dec 2011 but early in Jan 2012 this year I jumped to 50k net profit per month because I applied 3 things in my business:

A) Internet Marketer (Affiliate Marketing etc)
B) Product Creator (Selling digital products with JV support)
C) Offline Business (Offering IM services to local businesses)

I practically tripled my success, most people only do 1 or 2 of those things, when you do all 3 you absolutely smash it!

Excellent post James thanks for sharing.

I actually think this is a perfectly "sized" goal in the sense that it extends you and pushes you but its not SO far fetched that it is easy to believe in it and to work towards it.

If you wanted to jump from 20k per month to 200k per month that may be a bit much (although we've all seen people who have done that kind of thing) so I think this is excellent.

I also like that you are very focused. You are not going to start new projects from scratch and learn a brand new market/skill... but rather you are going to improve on what you already do well.

If you are not making the kind of money James is, I DEFINITELY recommend studying what he has shared here

Well on my way. Just connected with a JV partner who will be bringing me clients for Offline Marketing, that will have with extra cash flow. Going to bump up my Google Adwords spend from $600 to $2,000 per month. Here we go !! :-)

your plan is practical. But what I think the very last option selling 30 products (which are 2-4 ) is the difficult task
fort that you need more patrons
more marketing
more input time

do the stuff step by step . You can do it I know. But take it in an uncomplicated way

Fear is usually associated to the fear of failure or fear of making mistakes or just simply getting burned.

However, there is a kind of fear that many people forget about which is the fear of success. So, there are some self-sabotage habits that are put in place by this fear to stop you from attaining your goal.

Habits are formed in the mind and executed by the body. In conditioning your mind the way you are doing you are literally shattering every possible "excuse" "limitation" and "bad habit" that would have kept you back up till now!

Awesome decision indeed! It really always starts with a choice, and you made the right one!

Yes, I definitely love it. A lot of people dismiss positive thinking, and if anyone has ever spent much time listening to Tony Robbins you'll be familiar with his saying he repeats that if you spend all day in the garden chanting "there's no weeds there's no weeds" then you have a problem.

But I disagree with Tony because he's missing the point. The point of positive affirmations and positive thinking is to train your mindset. Not to create the expectation that you can prevent weeds in the garden. But you can prevent weeds in the garden of your mind, and some of us need to do more of these affirmations and chants more than others and that's fine. Some of us have stronger belief systems, self esteem, etc.

So if you need to do positive affirmations, chants, rituals, I say go for it. If it helps create the reality you prefer, don't let the nay-sayers stop you!

One affirmation I love and repeat often is from Wayne Dyer's book Excuses Begone:

"I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort"

Got a quick update, just spent 3 days at Conference about Blogging and found a platform that will help me reach goal even faster. It will go in the affiliate column and instead of $500 commissions I had in previous model, there will be $1,000 and $3,000. So...looking good. I also connected with a SEO guy that rocks, going to help me rank my Training Center higher organically.

Through your planning (and posting it) you are inspiring others. I'm still trying to make $5K a month! But a buddy of mine owns a business, not IM related, and had written on his dry erase board "$40K/mo" as a goal. to the left of it he had $10K $20K and $30K all struck through and he was reaching those goals consecutively. It just took me aback because you never really realize how possible it is until someone close to you is actually doing it.

So my friend keep grinding and keep pushing and you will definitely reach you goals, Godspeed.

Well, all I have to say is good luck and endure the hard work - my only question is that since you are bumping up your course for double from 1,000 to 2,000 - have you added any extra material or resources for what people are paying for. Because i'd be a bit annoyed if I paid 2,000 for the same stuff my mate paid you 1,000 only last week for example.

Yes, I keep improving the course, adding new content and I am eventually going to make it like a college course. Going to need to invest in some better software and record better videos. Raising the price to $2,000 on Oct 15th - I may lose some sales but get better quality students.
My competitors, Full Sail charges $60K and USF charges $15K, so I am still a lower cost alternative.

Woah! Are you talking about the Full Sail internet marketing college course for 60 somewhat thousands dollars?

I was @ full Sail taking a look into it a few months back here in Florida and the only thing I did not like about it is that you cannot work online using your name while attending their classes. Per the contract.

I am raising my main course from $995 to $1,995 on Oct 10th, 2 days from this post. I also found a second mid tier product to sell where I can earn $500 to $1,000 per sale. So, feeling pretty good about getting to $50K. Pretty sure October will be close to $25K or more with the price increase.
Will report back at end of month :-)

Update: Got about 40 days left, raised the price of my coaching program, also have 2 other top tier affiliate programs running. Been quoting some big offline clients lately and hope to land these deals after the holiday.
I got some work to do....on page for $24K net this month. :-)

Came up short on my goal, looks like I will end up at $28K this month. I do have a new start up company client starting in January and making my training program into a membership site.
