feeling overworked & not getting projects done

hey guys (and gals),

for a while now I've been musing over starting an online business & finally decided I'm going to provide content through youtube and an email newsletter, sending out affiliate recommendations as it progresses.
-my problem is I am getting ZERO work done it seems. I'm constantly spinning my mental wheels bogging myself down in all the tiny details such as- when should I buy my theme, should I plan & create email content before getting aweber to save money...
You get the idea.
-On top of this self defeating behavior of thinking my brainstorming is making progress when it really is just failing to take action, I have a very rigorous schedule on top. I'm attending my local community college (only taking 12 credits so I can focus on building businesses). I work a part time job as a busboy (my tips help fund my informal education & business) & I detail cars for some extra cash as well.

I'm also trying to stop playing video games (counterstrike & insurgency- played for 9 years, now its just a bad habit) & adopt regular excersise & proper nutrition to boost my efficiency. I'm having a hard time trying to mold all of these changes to my life all at once.

With all this I know If I could focus in on the necessary actions & take them I could over time grow my fledgling venture (more like an incubating egg) to possible profitability. any help is extremely appreciated

You need to take some time out to be honest, I know what your feeling I was crying for two whole days, because I have over worked myslef..

It really doesnt help that your overworked, just take time out. Try to work, 5 days in the week, full on articles, and posting and weeknds just leave it to styling and designing your sites, and just reading other blogs.

Dont barin strom to much as this wont really lead you anywere, its not like your going to jump from 500 unqiue stats to 17,000 stats in a week just beause your over wokingslef, so take the time out.

And remeber building a buisness, its sometimes can take some time be patient

Decide what is really important and work toward that goal. If you start thinking on every little thing then you can get frustrated. Set sometime for yourself like an hour to enjoy a game but after an hour have the will power to stop and focus on one project. Write down a plan and complete one step at a time. Try not to think or look at your other goals till you completed your first goal. For starting a business you need an organized plan. Write it done, then do things in order. You could also trade services, maybe you are good at social marketing and a friend is good at writing content. You could help with your friends needs and in turn they can help you, that way you both are achieving goals.

It's less about the will to succeed and more about the will to shut out the things that are bogging your success. I've personally found that even running the television in the background while I work is concentration shattering. How much more then will something you focus on, like a video game, strip you of your focus?

If you get rid of all the distractions, ALL of them, sit down, and put the first step of your project in front of you, it'll get done. Believe that.

A really good honest post prodigyzieg

You simply cannot do everything. Time out is a good idea. So too heeding your own advice. You know that these games you play are now passe for you.

What do you want to achieve? Is playing those games helping you get there?

I'd strongly suggest you start setting up some time management stategies and include enjoyable activities you have not been making the time to do.

Get outdoors. Reduce of stop the games. Focus on one project at a time (timelime) and be kind to yourself.

I suggest creating a "to-do" list, but make sure that your established goals are achievable thus not making you feel exhausted. Even if I'm working at home, I set weekends as my Day-off.... This way online work does not consume all my time.

I've been in that situation bro, it took me a year I think to overcome that struggle. My best advice I can give is to eliminate that distractions(games, always checking your stats, fb, crazy online stuffs etc..) Online business is a lot of discipline, we must master that.

John Reese once said about 'THE OPERA WINFREY WORKING SYSTEM" in his Traffic Secret 2.0 course.

She didn't ask the should she do tomorrow/next week/next month once her show is over.
She is a professional. Professional will have a time block working system.
    Hourly,Daily,Weekly,Monthly,YEarly.

You should plan your project in a yearly format.
    Then divide it into Hourly,Daily,Weekly,Monthly,

Making a todo list is important to get things done. As for the brainstorming just use a mindmapping tool. You can get your thoughts and ideas on paper immediately with a mindmapping tool and that will free your brain for the things you have to do.
