"Selling 101" ~ Zig Ziglar. Who read this?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to drop in and recommend a book, in case you haven't got around to it yet.

A great book by a great man, Zig Ziglar, on selling. What I like about this book is that it covers all aspects in the life of a salesman.

I truly believe a lot of you guys would benefit from this lecture. As Zig says: we all work in sales. I've seen a lot of big names in Internet Marketing over the years, using and selling some of the ideas found in this book. And they made millions, just by rephrasing and adapting some of the basic principles described in this book.

Hope you guys get the chance to check it out.
If you read it, please give us your feedback so others can benefit from your review. Perhaps recommend some other materials by Ziglar Corporation.

Cheers,

Dan

It's nice to see someone else who appreciates Ziglar's work. Selling 101 is absolutely a book everyone should read. He doesn't get nearly enough credit for his contributions to marketing.

The extras with his Success 2.0 are definitely worth signing up for worth so much more than the $1 he charges for the first month. It's an absolute steal.

If you've ever tried to sell anything you need Closes Closes Closes. $200 may sound like a lot, but you'll more than make it back in extra revenue.

I'm totally gonna check out the program.

Glad to see you enjoy Ziglar's work too.

And YES, I agree he doesn't get nearly as enough credit for his entire contribution to marketing, advertising and sales. I've seen so many people ripping off some of his work and making a killing in sales without ever thanking him...

Anyhow, I'm gonna respect Zig for everything he's done in his life and career, for himself and others alike.

      Cheers mate!

I love his audio recordings too. It's something about his voice. He's one of the first few who ever talked about the importance of voice training in sales.

Anyhow, he's probably one of the best speakers out there today; in my opinion at least.

      Cheers mate!

Zig's "See you at the Top" and "Secrets of Closing the Sale" are two of the first sales/self improvement books I ever read some 20 or so years ago, and the lessons they contain still apply today. Amazon.com: Zig Ziglar: Books

I wish I'd stuck around to hear Dan Kennedy speak when I went and saw Zig at a Peter Lowe event years ago, but unfortunately it was another 10 years before I learned about Dan and started devouring his stuff too. ;-)

I'm currently in the process of re-reading "Secrets of Closing the Sale", there's so much I missed at first...

Unfortunately, events like these are out of reach for me at the moment. My current location does not allow me to attend any of the big names' seminars and so. But I try to keep up by watching any recordings I can get my hands on.

Thank you for your feedback mate.

      Cheers!

      Well worth indeed mate.

And I would definitely recommend you take a look at "Selling 101" when you get the chance. It's been more than helpful for me. And it's one of the most comprehensive books on actual selling ever written.

      Cheers!

Definitely going to check some of these out!
    Thanks for the recommendations.
I love his saying "If you help enough people get what they want, you'll have everything you want" Always reminds me of what my focus should be and why I do this.

Zig Ziglar's work really is fantastic. I read some of his books probably five years ago but I really should re-visit them. I would probably get even more out of them in a second read than I did the first time.

"Selling 101" is probably the most complex book he wrote on selling. But I would recommend reading whatever you find by him, like "Secrets of Closing the Sale". I'm currently in the process of re-reading it myself.
Always a pleasure to hear him speak or read his thoughts.

        Cheers!

I never knew there were so many people in IM loving Zig's work. You don't see him get that much credit online. This is great!

Give it a firm study mate, it's worth it.
Also any other books from Zig are well worth the time invested in them.

If you're into e-mail or affiliate marketing these are like pure gold when it comes to selling.

      Cheers!
