The #1 Reason Why You Will Fail

Procrastination

Procrastination is the biggest reason why people fail. Some may say laziness but I disagree. Lazy people will get the job done eventually, even if it takes a while. People that procrastinate usually never get the job done, only keep putting it off.

So my advise to you guys who are stuck in the procrastination terror is...

Just Do it!

Trust me, it's a lot better in the long run to be a person that can accomplish and tackle projects. You can do it, just give it the effort. This doesn't only apply to internet marketing, but also your life.

"Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."

Procrastination was the biggest reason i didn't make ANY money at all on my first 6 months on the online world.

When i started taking action, the money started pouring in.So, simple..

I agree with you my dear friend. Lazy people get the job done anyway, it might take longer, but they get there anyway. I have seen it myself.

What counts is the effort that you put in.

    Thanks for your share.

Procrastination is definitely the first step to failure. Action is the first step to success. And whatever you do, "do it BIG or go home" especially if you want to be successful.

True! Procrastination is the devil that is holding many people hostage and hence they cannot be successful with their talents.

I think the following things make people fail:

    1. listening too much to others who break us down: "quite!", "you're crazy!", "it will never work!", "don't do it!", "get a real job!", "this will never make you money"...
    2. using old, obsolete "backwards" techniques - what is "proven" for the past, might not work in the future!
    3. not believing in our dreams: yes, let's dream, don't bee "too realistic!", because dreams and far away goals are what push you further and further!
    4. imitating, copying others
    5. trying to look "good" to others, wanting to be "liked" by people who are potentially less intelligent, but we still give too much importance to them!
    6. not having passion - do what you like, otherwise don't do it!
    7. not learning constantly
    8. being too slow
    9. not having momentum at the beginning: for example, in some business activities one has to gain momentum from the start, just like a runner or a racer would jet-off at the beginning
    10. following scripts, books, "recipes" written or taught by others, instead of developing our own business directions!
    11. being too satisfied with small results - always want more, always go further (and I'm referring to ambition, desire, not greed!)
    12. "money doesn't bring happiness" - "it's the game that counts" >>> the most successful people on the planet are successful, because they love what they are doing, not because they're doing it mechanically!... so doing it only for the money is a pretty bad thing,... you need to love your activity!
    13. giving up after 1-2-3-4...10 tries! ... do tens, hundreds of various combinations, tries and don't give up easily!
    14. don't depend on a single model - regardless whether it's business, sports strategy, whatever...
    15. only hoping: hope itself isn't enough, but still... many of us are just doing "hope marketing"... we are hoping it will one day go far better and we just sit and watch

Procrastination is a common and generalised condition that delays us all in some way, shape or form.

What I try to look for are the internal blocks that causes me to delay or put off.
