Adopt The Benevolent Universe Premise...

I wasn't actually planning on making another post in this section, not so soon, but I couldn't help but share this. This is a premise first taught by Ayn Rand (that I know of), and it basically states that pain, suffering, misery, are the abnormal, and that success, happiness, joy, etc, are the norm, and that evil can not last because it is impotent to good. It can only survive if it is sanctioned by good, or if good surrenders to it, but it can't last permanently, in the end, the good, or the rational/logical, has to win out.

The Benevolent Universe Premise doesn't state that "The Universe goes out of it's way to shower you with hugs and kisses", or anything like that, but on the other hand, is COMPLETELY neutral.

Because the Universe is Neutral, man has the power to apply his faculties of reason, and logic, to shape the world in such a way as it pleases us, and makes a world that's conductive to everyone's benefit.

Ayn Rand once said that historians of the future will look back at this age and call it the "Pre-Reason Era". Our problems in the world are not created by some sort of "evil" out there, but ignorance of our true power, and underdevelopment as a species...

So, as Truth, or, our understanding of how reality works increases...our happiness increases in proportion.
