I see a new motivated person come in every single day, but consistency is the only way that person is going to stay motivated. You have to put in a little bit of effort at the very least, otherwise you'll just get lost in the tangle.
Want to reach your goals? Put 5 minutes each day towards your main goal. That's like 35 minutes in a week.. come on, you have that much time, turn off the TV, put down your smart phone, limit your lunch break, do something. You have the time, you just aren't using it. You're goofing off and not getting anywhere because of it.
5 minutes is bull**** right? Nope. This post was written in less than 5 minutes and now I want you to take 5 minutes out of your day and respond to this post. Tell me what you're going to do in order to take action, what will you do each day to reach your goal?
Just spend a measly 5 minutes, even if that means 4 minutes of thinking and 1 minute of responding. You have the time.. heck, you just read this right? How long did that take you?
Prove to yourself that you can take action.
Here's a thought.
You are given 1 year to make $1,000 or you will lose your house? Be honest with yourself, in knowing that are you going to be productive? Are you going to try hard to make that $1,000? Or are you just going to sit around and not think about it until it comes close.
And in another scenario, you are given 1 week to make $1,000, same situation, less time. You're going to be more motivated to push to make that $1,000 sooner, right?
Okay one last one, I know a lot of people who take college courses, I myself didn't go to college, but they get homework and I can relate to that from high school. When they are given homework assignments, almost every one of them wait till the last minute. But either way, they get it done.
Wouldn't you rather get things done now? Enjoy living stress free now, versus waiting until you can't enjoy life as much? Take 5 minutes right now and do what you can to reach your goals. Even if it's just 5 minutes, it's still progression.
