90% of first time businesess fail...

90% of first time businesess fail and 90% of second time businesess succeed but 80% of those first time business owners never take a second chance.

The successful Internet Marketers know that failure is guaranteed in our journey to success. But only the successful IM'ers are able to move past those failures to get to their success.

What if I could read the future and told you that there was going to be 20 failures in your path before you got to your success. You would probably almost deffinetly succeed because you would just start trying to fail as soon as possible just to check them off to get to your success.

Well I can't tell you how many failures are going to be in your way but I can tell you that there probably will be failures coming your way. You must keep working through those failures because your success is just on the other side.

I speak from experience I should have quit long ago and everyone close to me told me the same, but I didn't and it's the only reason why I experience the success I do today.

To your success!
-Chris

Thought provoking. Just when I needed a little reinforcement that I was doing what I should be doing. Thanks.

    Hi Chris

That's a very interesting stat - where did you get it?

I was just going to ask the same thing. It's not my experience and it really depends on your expectations of the business and your definitions of success and failure but I would also like to see the study that confirms these statistics. Can you point us to a source of the study so we can quote it with confidence?

This may come from a childrens cartoon movie but it helps to remind yourself, "just keep swimming.."

I don't know what it is, but when I first stated marketing years ago, I did fail many times, but for some reason something kept motivating me to keep going. I never wanted to accept failure and kept pushing myself until I found a solution. I could have been my conscious speaking to me.

Well all I know is that I'm currently failing right now... the good thing though is that I'm learning a lot from it. It's really good to know that you can never go wrong when you never give up.

Failing to make $1? Or failing to make "enough"?

Last I checked... those numbers are off...

So, I would like to see the stats as well.
Besides that, when things get tough, people quit.

The average millionaire goes bankrupt 3.7 times.
Look at who you look up to.... they have failed, and porbably worse than you.

But, how is that possible? They didn't quit when things got tough and make excuses, like blaming things on "the economy"

That's a really great post. It's best to keep going and never give up. It takes time to get a business going. You will eventually succeed.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their business as well.
