There's No Such Thing as the Law of Attraction

A lot of people really resonated with The Secret wheat came out.

It instilled a sense of, "Yes, I can create my own reality" inside of people who were feeling powerless, lost and afraid.

Here's the thing:

You're never attracting anything.

There is no universe, separate from you, answering or responding to your desires.

Likewise...

You aren't here to learn how to manifest.

In fact...

Manifesting is all you do.

And you're not attracting one single bit of your life experience.

You're creating it.

Semantics?

Not on your life.

First of all...

All of the abundance you could ever ask for (and I don't just mean money) is already yours.

It's waiting for you right now.

You don't need to attract it.

You don't need to manifest it.

You just need to reveal it.

The Law of Attraction teaches you to keep looking outside of yourself for the answers (or proof.)

That's dangerous.

Because...

The answers (i.e. what you've been manifesting) are playing themselves out in front of you in this very instant.

You just not acknowledging what you have already created.

You're trying to manifest something better.

The problem is...

You can't manifest something else - until you acknowledge and take responsibility for what you've already created.

Why?

Simple.

You're giving all of your power to the creation.

You'll never convince yourself you can create (or attract) your own reality when you've so brilliantly separated yourself from all you are.

After all...

If you feel separate from your experience of reality, how can you accept or believe you have control over it?

You won't.

You'll just convince yourself, "This whole manifestation thing doesn't work!"

And yet...

You created all of it.

You manifested everything you're experiencing - down to the smallest detail.

Want change?

Stop judging your present manifestation (i.e. your current experience of reality.)

Instead...

Acknowledge you created your circumstances.

And appreciate the hell out of them.

That's step one.

    i had a lengthy post that might have offended some ..

    the real law the way it is stated .. is what you put out you get back ..

    if you put out there a message of lack or not enough.. you will get back more of not enough .

    the law of attraction as misstated in the secret .. turn a vital concept .. into a tool for consumption .. the universe is not going to give you what you ask for .. it is going to give you that which forces you to grow .

    that is the universe if you live in the state of attraction ..and most people are in default attraction .. and right now the universe is hitting a lot of people to grow or get out .. look around massive changes hit everyone regularly no .. few people are being allowed to just exist and get by ..you are either growing or dieing .

    there are two choices now ..

    the law of attraction where the universe finds you can grow in some way ..and beats you with a stick until you grow willingly.. or until you have no choice .this how karma really worked if you believe in reincarnation ..you don't get punished for wrong in past lives .. you plop down into a life path with potential problems that would provide the most opportunities for growth
    ( i am still in this group )

    or the other choice you chose to grow .. you see where you can grow .. and the universe feeds you inspiration showing you the best ways to grow ..the path of the conscious co-creator

    it is just so hard to give up a habit built up over thirty thousand years and a thousand plus lifetimes ..

    oh but the universe is beating it out of me ..

    Yes true, we reap what we sow. Whatever we put out into the world will come back to us. If you are not willing to put in efforts you will indeed not earn any of them.
