Good Guided Meditations?

Hey, recently I have been looking for some guided mediations. The ideal for me would be a guided mediation with sounds and binaural beats or other technologies used in mediation audios like Holosync.

Would really appreciate some suggestions, thanks.

I know your looking for a guided meditation. and/or a guided meditation with binaural beats.
I've practiced meditation for a decade and the only "meditation" with binaural beats I would do my self is "brain State Technologies" it is process when you physically go to a practitioner who hooks you up to a bunch of electrodes that monitors your brain state in real time.

Google "brain state technologies" and it should be the first one in google. I personally know practitioners in Austin, Texas and Philadelphia, PA area.

I didn't have good results with holosync.

I'm in the process of writing a brief document on meditation. Here is a rough cut of what I consider a good meditation technique for people who are beginners and experienced at meditation.

I'm not 100% done writing the guide so please forgive spelling and grammatical errors.

What you are going to do, is close your eyes. Now, think about your breathing. Focus on your breathing. You're going to pull air deep down into the bottom of your stomach. You really want to stretch your diaphragm down. So you take a deep breath, and you pull all that air in.

Now count to seven. After counting to seven, slowly let it out, counting to seven. As soon as you are done letting it out for seven seconds, pause for seven seconds. Slowly inhale for seven seconds. Hold it for seven seconds. You are going to focus on this.

You're going to do this over and over and over again. So, a complete cycle of seven would be you inhale for seven seconds, you hold it for seven seconds, you let it out for seven seconds, you pause for seven seconds, and you inhale for seven seconds, and so on. Each time, you get back to the bottom of your inhale, which is one. Count to seven, so it'll be seven-in- seven-hold-seven-exhale-seven-hold that is the cycle. Do the cycle, seven times.

I know that is not what you asked for. If you do try the method I described above, have any questions or want more clarity on it I would be happy to expand on it.

    Make it a great day!
    Nigel

These breathing techniques do help. I do something similar but use five seconds instead of the 7 , but what the heck, I'll add a couple more seconds. I do this at least a few times a day especially if i feel stressed out and also when I go to bed and have a difficult time winding down.

Check out Learning Strategies or Hemi-sync. I think you'll find either helpful. You can buy single CDs or focused programs.

Loving Kindness meditation is some way practices with Buddist people.
When you give love to someone, she will love you back in return.
The more you give love, the more you will get love back.

Why would you want sounds in your meditation? Reminds me of a young girl in a coffee shop reviewing for an exam. She had on a book in front of her, ear plugs in her ear and an ipod showing a movie. Ahhhh! Generation gap is difficult to understand.
