Personal Motiviation: Haters

Hey Everyone,

There’s a lot of amazing quotes, philosophies, and programs out there that work great. I've read my fair share of self-help books and they really do give you that boost.

But something I found that gives a whole other level of resilient discipline and focus is taking a look back on your life and people who doubted you.

Think of the times where you've had overwhelming amount of emotion wishing you were successful, a millionaire, etc. This applies a much more personal motivation to become something great.

Apply these emotions whenever you feel distracted or motivated and you'll find yourself working your butt off!

    Awesome, I'm currently listening to training on goal setting and the author says that the two most powerful drives are reproduction(sex) and vengeance.

    Vengeance can make a huge difference depending hows its used. For example two women (Mary and Jane) are cheated on. Jane goes on Facebook telling the whole world about who much of a jerk the dude is, spends most of her time plotting to sabotage any future relationships he has, she comes to the conclusion that all men are jerks. She becomes an expert at detecting jerks and sabotaging relationships.

    Mary on the other hand is pissed, but sees what she could have done wrong. She swears never to be in the same situation. She uses that same energy to exercise, read up on how to be more attractive and find out more about what makes men tick. How and where to find good guys. she becomes an expert in attracting the right men.

    Eben says that the best revenge is success!

      I agree completely with this philosophy because I've thought about seeking revenge on haters by way of success.

    Focus on what matters, bro. Haters goin' hate. Don't give the respect of acting as their opinions matter. They don't. What does matter is what you think of yourself, and based on that you will teach people how to treat you.
