How to get rid of negativity.

In starting a business, whether online or not, there are no guarantees of earning. What's sad is, most disappointments and glories determine the success of a certain business. And with it, negativity and other unwanted occurrences happen. This thread is all about how to get rid of negativity.

1. Never succumb to failure.
Failure is an inevitable part of human existence. Every human experiences failures. In fact, research says that in the life of a human, 75% is made out of failures, and 25% are glories. These failures will give you something to think about, and when you face something of sort in the future, you'll say, "hey, I could surpass it this time because I've already been here in the past". Bear in mind that early failures is just a thought that will save you from further humiliation, and we shouldn't succumb to it, but rather, we should learn from it.
2. Never be scared of taking huge risks.
Taking risks is another form of getting rid of your negativity. You might say it's exactly the opposite, but I beg to differ. Taking risks is a part of human life, and by not taking them, negativity will build up even further and may end up regretting not doing it for the rest of your life.
3. Achievements of the fallen
If you are experiencing a total negativity when it comes to business, take a good look at the achievements of the people who made the impossible seem possible. Check out Bill Gates. Check out Steve Jobs. Check out Mark Zuckerberg.
4. Observe
Look around you. I bet that most people around you are experiencing the same dilemma as you do. But does this concern them? No! They think that they could surpass the dilemma that they are facing. They think they could get out of the sinkhole that they are right now. You should learn how to adapt their ideas and philosophies in life as well, by observing them and making them your inspiration.
5. Think happy, be happy
This is an old wise saying, but it is definitely true. Once you start thinking that something will happen, it will happen. But once you start thinking that something will fail, it will most definitely fail. By getting rid of the thought of failure, the chances of it failing will surely decline as well.

The biggest challenge of all for many I'm sure is falling into the negative abyss that other wallow in.

Those are are experienced in flexing their own negativity and also experienced in dragging others down.

Because of this, there are often situations which present themselves which will test positive people. In some situations it might be said that the positive person "takes the higher ground" and ignores a person / situation or on the flipside the positive person may feel the need to address the person who is being negative. Unfortunately when this decision is made, there's a very thin line between changing things for the better and having that negative person bring an otherwise positive person to a detrimental, alternative state.

This is true in both the online and offilne worlds. The Internet of course being a vent for many to flex an alternative ego they can't otherwise bring out in the real world, (where they would probably be sat in their place swiftly). Such people have too much "virtual gut" with too much to say and so little value to add with the Internet serving as their sandbox of sadness. These people are best avoided.

Likewise in the real world, there are similar people. I find passive agressive people the most difficult to deal with as the whole persona is defined by the person being cunning on their ways; to bring down another with swift, indirected comments or actions.

The Kryptonite for the aforementioned people is happyness, awesomeness and positivity. Keep above them, don't be like them, stick to your guns and just kill it in everything you do. Ignore the wanna sharks or if they get too close just kick them in the teeth. You've got oysters to find.

Many setbacks and obstacles that we face will also confront out competitors as well. If we stay determined and keep going then we will get further than the competitors who give up. If we look at problems this way then we can see them as an opportunity.

If we are feeling negative we should silently *praise* optimism, happiness and confidence etc. Praising nourishes the quality and 'tunes us in' to that quality. Praise the quality within ourselves (it will always be there, though maybe repressed), in others and as abstract virtues.

Negative beliefs can only lodge in us in areas of semiconsciousness. If we keep praising a quality we will become more conscious of it, we will be reintegrating it, freeing it from repression. Then any negative beliefs about it will automatically fall away/dissolve.

at the end of the day you may come to realize that "ending negativity" is not an answer to anything. What we regard as negative is only defined on the basis of our goals. Things that move us toward our goals is regarded as "good" and things that move us away from our goals is regarded as "bad" or "negative."

Learning to understand the benefit of "negativity" may be a more helpful approach. We benfit from the apparently "negative" experiences we have by allowing these experiences to teach us. When we see all our experience as an opportunity to learn about ourselves, our world, and our business, we change the nature of our relationship with those experiences we regard as "negative."

If you find yourself debilitated by a failure, it can be helpful to note that it's quite understandable that you will have a reaction. But if you dwell in this state or reactivity you're in effect choosing the failure experience as a lifestyle. Learn to use the apparently "negative" in your experience as a tool for insight and self-growth. When you can do this successfully, you'll no longer feel the need to rid yourself of negativity because you'll have successfully turned it into your ally.

I have found that since I started actively pursuing a positive outlook that I have become acutely aware of all the negative thoughts and people around me.

Many of my friends, I now notice are living in a world of negativity. Scary that that is exactly where I have come from!

So I now am finding that I am gravitating toward positive people, just the same people I use to be suspicious of!

    Amazing turnaround

I'm with you there. Once you've distanced yourself from negativity in general it's surprising how much you notice it once somebody brings it into the room.

I love this post it's so true. Negativity is way too infectious and harming to not just yourself, but others in your life. Definitely get away from anyone negative in your life as you will only be infected with it which will ultimately keep you from prevailing at worst.

Think positive, act positive, inhale positive, exhale negativity, be successful!
