Steve Jobs Autobiography Review

Hi guys,

I am considering getting a copy of Steve Jobs Autobiography for Christmas and just wanted to see if anyone here has any thoughts or reviews about it? Did it inspire you? What are the best points of the book for you?

Cheers, Mikey

    Haven't read it before...

I have seen video documentaries of Steve Jobs and his story is extremely inspiring so I would expect the same of the book...

It's awesome! Very candid and honest portrait. I couldn't put it down when I read it. I might be biased but I think it's a must read.

Get the book. It's a fantastic book that relates many marketing and business principles.

Especially interesting is what the author calls his "reality distortion field".

Jobs would see an almost impossible task and would inspire his team to complete it because his reality didn't see it as impossible.

After he died, I have seen the book on every coffee table in NYC. The funny thing is, nobody can get through it!

I do not know you, nor your reading ethic. But for me, borrowing it from the library helps me read it quickly and thoroughly because I know there is a deadline.

    Plus you can save $$!

I only buy books that I have read before, and are literally staples of my life.

Great idea! That's what I usually do too, and this book is probably a pretty good one. I think I'll go put it on hold at the library.

Is there really something like Steve Jobs Autobiography out there? I have heard about his biography by Isaacson, but that's really not an autobiography.
