Everyone at times get discourage, and performs less than their best.
There are days that you just don't have the energy or the motivation to act.
During days like these, a good motivational audio or video usually seem to at least nudge me back on course.
This video by Les Brown usually gets me pumped up and ready to go again.
Share some of the ways you get through these tough days.

Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Robert Schuller

Les brown is probably the best motivational speaker out there but motivational stuff in itself can be deceiving.

You could feel great in the moment but that's not going to last & by no means does it guarantee that you'd be successful. When you try to motivate yourself, you are trying to consciously make yourself do something that your unconscious isn't ready to do.

So in other words, you are probably fighting with yourself. The key is to first program your unconscious mind in alignment with your goals. That way, you won't need to motivate yourself, it will be a natural process.

Motivation is a daily thing, everyone motivates themselves differently. I agree that you have to get you unconscious to accept the change but your consistent actions can form new habits which in turn forms your new programming.

What have been giving me constant burst of energy lately, is really beginning to appreciate the freedom that life offers. Was on the beach doing some work and i felt a surge of enthusiasm knowing the level of freedom that this business offers. I fell in love with this song, just wanted to share it.

I fully agree, motivational tape ,while ok, are little more than a sticking plaster over a gaping wound. I believe that if your goals are big enough, and the reasons for achieving those goals are strong enough, then you are in synch. If you need someone to spark you into action, then maybe your goals need some close scrutiny, The big question is WHY

There always will came a time of discouragement, low energy, no motivation, bad mood, rough moments... Life just happens to all of us. I have one thing that always help me almost instantly to go over such bad moments. When that happens I close my eyes and think of my dreams. When I think how my life will look like, how will I feel when they will be reality everything negative just disappears in a fraction of a second and I feel unstoppable! I know with internet marketing i will make my dreams come true so there is no way anything could possibly stop me to accomplish them! In fact I'm already on the road to my dreams! How about you?
Have anybody tried thinking of dreams in tough moments? Try it, it's so powerful!

Wish to everybody to realize their dreams!

What motivates me is the fact that any day could be my last. That I need to show my family that I love them, have a clean home, and work hard at everything that I do. Anytime I think that my last moments were spent having said something rude to my mom, have my home be found dirty, or not have amounted to anything due to laziness I squirm.

Also age. When I see people younger than me having not only made a ton of money, but most importantly fulfilled their dreams I get a pang of nervousness. As I know that I have the potential to be in their shoes- I just have to utilize it.

Email motivates me. I setup email alerts for whenever I get a commission. So when my Clickbank product sells I get an email, new opt-in, I get an email. When some of the products I'm an affiliate for sell I get an email.

End result is my iPhone is constantly reminding me thru the day that I'm scaling things up.
For me this is pretty motivating - if I'm getting a flood of traffic it's a bit much because my phone is going off all the time.

Something positive in my life always gives me motivation when I’m discouraged for some reason. It can be whatever. New subscribers, a nice comment about my work, a thank you message from someone, a simple sale, just something nice. This fact will give me instant motivation.

When nothing positive in the outside world happens to help me feel better, then I try to find motivation by reading other people’s words.

I think it's all part of living experience to have highs and lows in life.
      But one things is persistence.
I feel that keeping your goal/objective/target in mind of what you want to achieve is key.
Dedication time to this -being little and often is better than sparingly and at a bulk.
All long journeys, not matter how big or small , all start with the first step.
To have a successful end result, you need dedication and persistence.
I think this works for me, and don't forget everyone goes at their own pace and will find what works best for them, as everyone has unique skills to put into practice.

I personally like to have my own private space/corner at home to be focused, with the least distractions as possible!

I've developed a personal technique for self motivation, and it may be only working for me, but I've decided to share it with others in this forum a while ago.

I can't find the link to the thread at the moment, but I'll describe the short version of it...

    1) Think of your role model, someone who does things with no hesitation at all, someone who does not take NO for an answer, an action taker, a fully driven personality. It can be a fictitious character, a character from your own life, or a celebrity. For me, it was Tony Robbins

    2) Imagine that you two are "business" partners (this can be done through repetitive visualization) and that everything you both do or don't do contributes or takes away from your existing business.

    3) When faced with an adversity or a need to procrasinate or give up, think about what your "partner" would say to that idea. Would he say: "mmh, yea... let's give up" or would he say "let's CRUSH this MF!". This way you'll also know whether you need to change partners or not xD

Anyway, it's just a small technique that has never failed to work for me, and I really hope you can adopt it as well.

    Cheers,
    Zannix

hahaha... I can relate to this. When I learned that I can make money online, I searched for various resources on how to really do it. Then I found a video about blogging. Since then I started to blog and feel addicted to it.

I am not a techie guy but I really love to learn. But there are just times that I don't feel motivated and feel the discouragement that I am still not earning from my blog despite for all the things that I have done. But during those down-lows, I just watched the video I first discovered blogging and repeat what he said, "Putting a blog is NOT that easy. You need a lot of work, effort and a lot of patience."

And then my motivation revived telling myself that I need to have more patience.

For me, I always write down what I want to accomplish.

I start with positive affirmations like:

I am earning $xxxxx per month

    I am a winner

I am not average and I will succeed.

    I am a great leader

I am a huge success online.

Then I just repeat those words to myself even though sometimes, life punches you, knocks you down, and kicks you when you are down.

That is what keeps things in place and keeps me motivated. It is called:

    Self motivation.

I just think of my current lifestyle, and try to picture it over the span of 10 years without change. This will certainly motivate me to doing better in whatever I do. I believe in constant improvement, and remaining stagnant with no drive will simply get me nowhere close I would like to be.

At times like these I remember what a wise woman told me when I was younger: "When you feel like you can't move, the best thing to do is be still."

We all feel the need to do something all the time. To do something productive. But we can't be productive all the time. Sometimes we need to just chill out and let nature takes it course. If you try to make moves when you feel stuck, you're just running around in circles going nowhere. You'll know when to act on something and when to relax.
