I've been guilty in the past of allowing Shiny Object Syndrome to get the best of me. I'd buy a product, and go through the entire system. Studying and getting organized are strong suits for me, so I'd go through the system thoroughly, taking notes on each facet along the way. I'd get just to the point of taking action, and then think of some reason why the system wouldn't work, or why I might not be able to get it to work for me. So I'd abandon the plan, purchase another system, and the cycle would start anew.
It is no longer an option for me to study and study and then (perhaps) act. These days I take immediate action on what I learn, and trust that success will follow.
My message for today is to take action now. Seize the day! Do not wait for your act to be perfected before you take it on the road.
