This One Thing Can Change Your Life Forever

Hey warriors

I wanted to give back and give you some actionable content so you can go away and get some great results.

There is one thing , that if not taken care of that causes businesses to slide, people to get frustrated that they are not making money and it causes people to not achieve their goals in business and in life in general.

This one thing if you master it can take you from broke to millionaire in record time, can get you success that you cant even imagine was possible and can make you happier than you ever wanted to be.

I was taught this personally by Alex Jeffries who was coached by mike filsaine and rich schefren as his mentors who as you know are some of the biggest Internet marketers on the internet.

When i first heard about it i ignored it like 98% of people do. But when i applied it daily to every area of my life i saw HUGE INSTANT RESULTS and not just that, it was long lasting consistent results, its that powerful.

This one thing has a dark side too, in that it can equally destroy you if not directed correctly.

So what is this magic thing that you say?

Its so simple that you may have not even realized your doing it and that is the Law of FOCUS.

You see true FOCUS is like a laser beam that can cut through anything that is stopping you from success.

Lack of focus is the reason why people are afraid to lose someone or lose something such as money. If your afraid to lose your husband or wife or afraid to lose money or your job, you CANNOT GAIN.

Your Focus is a prized commodity that needs to be directed in the right place.

You MUST focus on RESULTS and what you want in your life , NOT on what you don't want.

Most people focus on what they don't want and as a result they get more of what they don't want.If you focus on being broke or in debt you get more of that. If you focus on the solution and how to grow and improve, you begin to get success.

With your internet business your need to focus on those TASKS that make an Income and outsource the rest. This will keep your productivity high.Write a To do list the night before for the following day and be diligent and full of excellence on each task. Be 100% focused on that task.Turn off all distractions- email, social media, your phone etc.

That explains why people who spend too much time on forums, twitter and facebook, look back at the day and say, what i have i actually achieved? Zero.

You need to spend your time wisely not foolishly or you will be like 98% of the Of people who lack focus, they watch too much TV, gossip all day with friends and waste time being unproductive.

You can now write your To do list and get fully focused on the task at hand.Write a list for your personal life also and you will increase your confidence and get more done in less time than you thought and move your life forward.

Remember you cannot gain if you focus on losing.Think like a winner always and be positive.

Anyway i speak from the heart as i want you to succeed. Take what i have shared with you here and use it daily.

Remind yourself everyday am i being productive or unproductive?

hoped you enjoyed the content.

All the best

Mark

Yep, good advise Mark, overall, but...

you also have other laws, the law of increasing returns, hitting your head against a brick wall, the law of trying for so long, you start doubting your sanity!

Explains why some millionaires are eccentric, persisting for 20 odd years, has driven them a bit nuts!

Or excessive failure, etc, is probably causing more harm than good, mentally wise! And the %7*9 economy doesn't help!

I am probably on the right path now, after about 5+ years of failure, although the last failure, eventhough, teaching me a valuable lesson about what to avoid like the plague, has taken it's toll!

So, now l will put everything l have into the latest project, (software development) but don't expect any life changing results, l have been through too much failure for too long!

So l will give it my best shot, and probably fall over if it does something positive, (which it eventually should, since l am researching the best selling software out there, putting the best elements together, and doing high quality graphics, etc) but time will tell????

Thanks for sharing this. Glad I am not the only one. I have also been on the path of 4+ year of failure and it's driving me nuts :p. Also putting everything into my latest project which is related to the fitness & health industry. I know this will work as I have ten years of experience and know exactly how to market it.

Thought I found an investor for it but he didn't show up on our scheduled meeting.

I have laser focus and I am doing my absolute best. I know I will make it though and I learned from my mistakes and I also know adversity builds strength. Hang in there Shane. You will succeed in the end.. As will I .

Yes, focus is necessary to success. But there two things need have are knowledge and action on it. Let apply it for everything you can, small things then same way with big things.

this is what we where talking about in the create money thread ..

first relax and get in a focused state ..then take action from that focused state..

goal fail many people because they tend to be spread out and disconnected..so they provide very little focus ..

it is something tim ferris goes into ..trying to avoid working just to work without measuring productivity..

Focusing on the right things is what helps drive my decisions involving my business. It's often hard to avoid the temptation of bigger and better things.

Last night I read a PDF that I had about content curation and all of the things that you should do with your content to get it out there. Then I realized that my business wasn't at that point yet, and I had to keep focusing on what I've been focusing on mastering.

One step at a time. Better to get it right than to be distracted by too many things.

Focus is great thing. But, one has to not only stay focused on the job, but aware of what is going on around you.

If you are focusing on something not traffic related while crossing the street....

I agree that focus is very important. It allows you to put aside all the distractions and helps you concentrate on the actions that will bring you your desired goals. The more you think about a specific goal, the more likely it is that it will become real.

    Hi Mark,

    Good stuff.

Too many people think about their problems in life. They want to have success but they talk to themselves about how things are bad.

The first rule of success online or offline in a home business is to actually FOCUS on what you want and tell yourself that you are already achieving your goals. Talk to yourself and visualize them.

I am no good. I am not successful yet. I have a lot of debt......Those words don't help you and you really attract what you say and focus on.

    Instead, change your words to:

    I am a winner.

    I will succeed.

I will do what ever it takes to succeed.

    I have abundance of money.

    I am a great leader.

    I will do great things.

    These words only help.

Here is something that is actually a lot easier than getting focused.

    Remove distractions.

The more distractions that you remove, the more focused you are forced to become.
For 2 years straight I had a 48" plasma tv hanging on my wall, with no cable connected to it. I decided that I hate tv, it is only a boring/useless distraction, so I had it disconnected.

I have had it turned back on more recently (after a recent hurricane) but I plan on disconnecting it again soon.

2 days a week, in the morning, I will crawl into my crawlspace and disconnect the internet. I get a natural high by doing so. Some people think this is crazy, but it takes a massive load off my shoulders. Instead of always trying to maintain your focus, just remove as many distractions as you can. The goal is NOT to make yourself feel weak, but the complete opposite. For instance, there was a time when I was "trying" to not drink so much on the weekends. But everytime I'd go out with my friends... guess what I'd do? I'd drink. I can't tell you how long it took me to realize, "well shucks, if I just stop going out, I'll be forced not to drink!" lol.

I don't need my internet connected if my goal that day is nothing but content generation. Like working in photoshop or an html editor. Whether I'm working online or not, I always write out simple checklists the night before.

    Like:

    1) Upload 5 articles to xxx sites.
    2) Upload 3 videos to youtube, backlink, order fiver gigs.
    3) Get a minimum of 10 new citations for xxxx site.
    4) Leave 10 high pr blog comments between pr 3-pr6.

and so on and so on

I keep my bulletin board directly behind my computer screen.
This way when I look at the screen, I am FORCED to see my washboard that has that days goals on it.

I do not expect to remove all distraction, because I am human afterall. Like right now I'm on WF posting this, and I still have 2 videos left to optimize/backlink and order a fiver gig for.

So I think I'll go to that right now.

But let me tell you, it feels pretty damn good to check off a list everyday. Having that visual anchor for accomplishment, will only motivate you further, and you'll actually wind up accomplishing more with your time. Also, content generation is probably my biggest weakeness, which is why I go to the extreme of disconnecting my internet cable. I notice on days I work online, I always work less efficiently, just because I have access to the internet (like right now). When I first got the idea, from "4 Hour Work Week", he said to install a program that would lock your computer. But the problem is, all you have to do is restart it, then you have your distraction back. Going outside however, and crawling under your home is a different story. Thats a lot of work if you get a craving to see what WF is up to.

Great post Mark. I heard about many laws but I although I know the importance of focus, I didn't consider it a law.
I have been trying to succeed online for a few years now, and focus was definitely one of the ingredients that was missing. There are so many distractions on the internet that you have to be very disciplined to stay focused.
Another law that's very important for people who start working online is the Law that recognizes that any project in life that we want to implement, will take some time to grow and mature for us to see results. Because of the many lies and false advertisements on the internet, and because of people's impatience, many believe in the "instant" success phenomena which is not realistic.

Yes, focus is key - but that is also very broad...focusing on the right things and then taking the right actions is what will move you forward.
Just ignoring negative events so that you don't FOCUS on them is delusional and will do more harm than good, if you need to - use the negative events to focus on what you do want to accomplish.
Negative events and times in our lives are natural and can not be avoided or ignored.
However, we live in a society that promotes complaining, guilt, worry, drama, etc...
So here's a way to use that negativity that we are so used to productively.
Here's a quick trick to turn your focus to the positive without even trying!
This works for everything I can think of...take a problem or question...
Take a sheet of paper and put a big T at the top.
On the left side at the top of the T write; DON'T WANT
On the right side of the T write; WANT
Here's an example - Let's take something like FINANCES
      For the DON'T WANT side I put;
      Too much debt
      Constantly struggling
Stuck in a miserable job to pay bills
      etc...
      On the WANT side;
      No debt
      Easy to pay bills
Do something I love and enjoy

This has worked so well it's almost uncanny! Give it a shot - you might be surprised .

Wow, yes Shane I certainly Know this feeling, I have had going on a decade of not so positive learning experiences....divorce, job loss, foreclosure...all learning experiences no doubt...but not pleasant ones, feels like I've been through a war.
Started out just a lowly corporal that thought I had it all figured out - turned into General MacArthur, and I realize I don't know everything but I'm hardy enough to go the distance. The lessons have been so damn harsh I learned them WELL enough to teach with a relish!

Yes, removing distractions is key...turning phone ringer off, etc...
Also, notice Red makes a detailed list of what to focus on...VERY IMPORTANT
Otherwise you will just go in circles til you get discouraged.
For example, his focused tasks - upload 5 articles to specific sites.
Specific tasks (Upload), that have the amount (5 articles), and the exact places to upload the 5 articles within the time frame of that day (24 hrs).
Here's what I've done and I see a lot of people do.
I have a lot of debt, so my focus is obviously get out of debt - way to broad.
This needs to be broken down to specific, measurable goals with specific tasks attached to those goals to have any hope of going in the right direction with any momentum.
      Hope this helps

    - I agree, because being a businessman, focus is one of the most important things to make your business successful. Without focus, you cannot think of any ideas to make your business more sufficient. And by focusing, you can think a lot of ideas for more improvement in your business. More improvements, more money to come.

This thread is such a great read first thing in the morning. There's nothing better than a concentrated shot of positivity before starting work.

Thanks to everyone who contributed so far. To give a little bit back, I believe it's important to identify and celebrate victories, no matter how small they may seem at the time. Oftentimes out of modesty we tend to overlook our own progress, and that can be harmful in the long run.

So sometimes, take a step back, catch your breath and acknowledge something as simple as this: "I'm better today than I was last week. This is working out for me".

      Have a wonderful day all,
      Tudor
