Network Marketing Skill You Can't Succeed Without

How many times were you rejected while trying to share your business opportunity with someone with the most positive intensions in mind? I can't count the exact amount of times I was, but I am pretty sure it was a lot!

Most of us, internet/network marketers deal with rejection on daily basis, but what if there was a way around it? What if there was an option to eliminate rejection and objection aspect of marketing and what was left is just running a healthy, successful home business?

I am about to share with you a secret that not only will eliminate the objection and rejection in your marketing business but will improve your life in general so drastically that it will make your head explode!

The most powerful marketing skill you SHOULD develop is the ability to LISTEN. The ability to listen to the other person with genuine interest at heart. Really listening to what is being meant and not just to what is being said. Listening without prejudice, assumptions or interruptions. Really sinking into what the other person has to say and feeding back to him/her.

People are different and we must respect that fact by listening and accepting the person in front of us. In order to really understand the other person we first must listen to what he has to say regardless of who this person is, what he does or where he lives. When you listen-amazing things happen. You might hear something you never expected to hear. Later, when the other person finished talking you might find out that you have interpreted his/her words in a completely different way.

Here's an example:

"Megan came knocking on her neighbor's door looking for her husband. She said he was missing and she couldn't find him for the past 2 days. Her neighbor said that she didn't see Megan's husband and that she was sorry about her husband missing. The reply Megan stated was shocking to her neighbor. Megan said that she was very pleased he was missing since she hated him and was trying to get rid of him for years..."

This little story goes to show you that we always and I repeat ALWAYS must listen to the other person with no assumptions, judgment, prejudice or interruptions. You can never know what the person in front of you feels. And how a person feels is the most important thing to you, because people make decisions based on feelings-NOT on logic.

Therefore, Next time you talk to a potential business partner, be sure to listen to what he/she has to say.

    Good stuff Igor.

When I started to truly listen to people, knowledge
and other important pieces of information started to resonate with me.
I might have "heard" the same thing thousands of times before. But when
I started listening, interpreting then relating it to my own situation,
    I gained different understandings.

Thanks for the golden nugget of knowledge!

    Hello Igor,

I love this , that is wise. Funnily enough I am deaf(partially) and the number of times I have had a conversation or seen someone not listen when others were trying to tell them something!!
    Thankyou very much

    Cheers.
