I have been doing it now for a few days. The trainings are enjoyable and pretty challenging. I'm interesting in seeing if Ii see any marked improvement in my brain cognitive ability over the next couple months doing so. I don't think it can hurt to try.

anyone have any experiences?

I've tried it. Despite it's claims, and it's legitimate claims about (with limits, most of us have already reached) neuroplasticity, it's generally presumed (scientifically) to only help you get better at the games, not at actually improving your skills.

I've tried and it was fun but I think the main thing that kept me giving up was that it's really hard to quantify how better you're getting in real life.

You just have to be a good candidate for cognitive training. I'm a clinical psychologist and the research behind Lumosity is solid. My coaching & therapy clients with adult ADHD have seen some improvements using Lumosity (and I measure these improvements).

If you are noticing difficulties with memory/attention/concentration, then Lumosity is worth a try. If you have been diagnosed with ADHD, then it is certainly worth a try. People struggling in these areas do benefit from cognitive training. There are better cognitive training programs available, but they are quite expensive.

Lumosity is NOT designed to help you develop exceptional skills in these areas. If your cognitive skills are average or better, then Lumosity is likely just for fun. Most of my coaching clients who can't get organized and motivated are better served by coaching and meditation.

      Hope that helps.

I signed up a while ago when they allowed you to play 3-4 games for free.... I enjoyed the number games, but the word game was my favorite, it challenged me to come up w. new words and I feel that helped me throughout the day.... I'd recommend it....

Daniel, a Lumosity search will take you right to it....

yes, I have been playing it for a few weeks. The most funnest game is Eagle eyes.sometime it is quite challenging but overall it is a good game to try since it can train your peripheral vision.
