Do you still jump for joy each time?

I've been making my living online for about 7 months now (got laid off last June and been making money with list building ever since) and I still jump for joy whenever my phone rings up with a "you received a payment from" message.

I have to admit there are days where I make nothing, days where I make little, and days where I bank huge. Luckily, it's been extremely consistent for me to pay all my bills and still get some cool things I want.

I remember getting my first job and being excited for the first paycheck, but started feeling desensitized knowing I would get paid every 2 weeks. With each *job*, it was the same feeling. I still loved getting paid, but it didn't feel exciting because I didn't enjoy what I did.

For IM, it's different because you get paid at the most random and sporadic times. It's one of the best feelings to get paid after you go to the bathroom and especially when you wake up in the morning. Just recently, I was having dinner with family and my phone was going nuts with payment notifications.

I started in 2010 and didn't make a dime until 2012. I still remember how awesome it felt to get paid pennies after 2 years of hard work. One year later, it still hasn't gotten old!

I plan to start moving into product creation since that's where the real money is and I still get excited to see payments coming in all the time, no matter how much they are.
