I heard that before and all I can say is that you say what you want but you have to back it up with actions.

You want to manifest things in your life but action will always get you the things.

Just like if you want to earn $XXXX of money online with your business. You have to talk to yourself that you are already achieving your goals but you also have to get an effective plan in place.

Thanks for this post. I had listened to this recording a few years back and forgot it. The message is key and found in many books currently being promoted, but he has a particular way of saying this "strangest secret". I have found out that we do need to hear it over and over again.

The Strangest Secret is one of the best personal development teachings out there. It is so simple, yet so profound. I highly recommend everyone take a listen to this teaching.

This message is so powerful. I've discovered it a few years back already and also heard others speak about this recording later on.

For me the most profound thing about this message is how it came into existence. Earl had an idea that struck him like lightning and he went into his recording studio where he produced an audio that inspired millions of people.
This goes a long way in showing that it's a lot about "Ideas & Execution" and not so much about hard work and grinding it out. The wealthy just think differently...
This makes me leave with this quote I first heard from Robert Kioysaki: "If hard work was such a wonderful thing, surely the rich would have kept it all to themselves."

you made a really good point there about taking action on our ideas.

I heard Eben Pagan use a similar phrase and it is called speed of implementation and he basically says that every time we have an idea we should implement it and see what results it brings.

We never know how our ideas will turn out unless we decide to test them out.

Earl Nightingale made a lot of money through this idea!!!

I hadn't heard the recording, but I know of the principle. It's a powerful one for sure. Talfighel is of course correct about action being the thing that sets it off, but using the two together can be huge.

Earls work is amazing! I listened to this recording many times. Everyone should listen or read something like that and grow each day. I read almost every day and my life experience is improving every day as well. But what's really important is to take action, no matter what you get. If you fail, you'll learn and gain experience. But take action, always. Actions will teach you everything.
