If you are reading this right now, at this very moment in time and you can breathe, then you are very lucky my friend!

You are alive today and gratefulness should be flowing through your mind! You have been given the chance to live another day, and a lot can happen in a day! This day could be full of opportunities and good fortune heading your way!

Some people may say that God were to give them the chance to live another day, I am not a religious man but that does not stop me being grateful!

I do not particularly want to bring religion into this thread but I am just trying to relate to certain people!

For some, you may have already done so much with your day, for others you may already be regretting the habits and actions you have done today!

It's not too late, and if you sit for a moment in silence and truly learn to appreciate the time, and things you have been given! It will become easier to get yourself motivated!

Some people live on the principle that "Everyday should be lived to it's fullest", I am one of those beings that follow that rule! I highly believe that we should live to prosper and make the most out of each moment!

It's only when it's too late that many actually become appreciative towards a certain element in their life and they wish that they had only stopped, and appreciated the little things sooner!

Live your life well, don't allows circumstances and other people hold you back! You are the author for your life story, others are just characters to keep the story interesting! Live to achieve your maximum potential!

I want this thread to be easy to relate to! For that, I am going to say how much of a "Looser" I was, I would literally start playing video games as soon I got out of bed!

I would spend hours just staring at popular social sites such as YouTube or Facebook or even the news sometimes! I was in a trance and I was not achieving anything with my life!

I then admitted to myself, that I was a looser! I swallowed my pride and became the bigger man in situations! I no longer reacted to situations such as arguments. I stopped allowing situations and people to control my life!

I became very proactive, I was a much happier at this point! I re-envisioned my dreams and made a plan of how I was going to get them! I became successful in my mind!

Since I am not very good at explaining things, and I admit that, the point of this thread for those who may not have understood fully is to live your life now! Don't let family, friends of even total strangers control your life!

If someone you admire thinks that your idea of being self-employed is stupid, well that's good that they have an opinion! Listen to it, consider it and move back to working on your goals if you believe in them!

If your situations are bad, learn to live more in your mind! Learn to admire the silence and become a "Proactive" person, if you do not know what that is, I recommend reading "The Highly Effective Habits of Successful People". It is habit one and it truly creates a AH-HA moment!

Live your life the way you want to! Achieve success now, not later! Become unstoppable in every area of your life! If it makes any difference, in my opinion, if you are reading this now! I believe that you can succeed! You took the effort to read something that potentially improve you!

You just need to find your motivation now! Have a great day!

J Crosbie,
#lucky

      Great post.
      Gratitude is a Game Changer.
When I wake up or end up in a depressed mood I start with a simple but
profound question...What am I grateful for today?
I have never had a time when this has not totally changed the state that I'm in or
      the direction of my thoughts.
Yes, everyday above ground is a good day...some are better than others though :p

Nice post. Thanks for the share. We're lucky indeed that we're alive, we are lucky that we're here, we're lucky to have a business, we're lucky we have friends. Isn't that enough?

I agree, Joe. Nice post! Focusing on positives is so important! There are probably a million thing to be thankful for, and it can be too easy to take them for granted.

I agree totally! The same goes for me! On occasions, if I am in a really bad way, I watch a documentary or a video about people less fortunate than me and then I feel so happy once again! So many people take day to day life for granted and I think we should all make the effort to be a little more grateful! Indeed, today is one of the good ones!

Thanks for your kind words! You have the exact same opinion as me! The trouble is that some people who are extremely negative don't like to hear about gratefulness! I have a family member who told me that my outlook is a bad one, I can't see what's wrong for being grateful! As you said, we have all these things that we could be enjoying, why would you want to complain about bad things?

Good to hear buddy! It is a very powerful thing and it takes a lot of effort to remain positive. It's too easy to go into a state of negativity and ungratefulness, being grateful makes the little things seem so much more enjoyable!

Indeed it is my friend! I have felt amazing since shifting my personality if you wish, from a reactive one, to a proactive! The effects are incredible! Good to hear some one else is finding benefit from it!
