Rip, Pivot, Jam to success...
Here are my tips for those of you struggling to make a dime. Don't panic, I was in your shoes 5 years ago and now life is very different.
It's a concept that I use but it's not my terminology. I read it on WF.com...so here it is:
Rip - find a process, method or technique that works and COPY it. That's right, you don't need to re-invent the wheel.
Pivot - take this process/method/technique and add your own twist to it. Don't be afraid to experiment because NOTHING in the Internet Marketing world will kill you. Tools like tumblr.com, Squidoo, Hubpages are free so tweak, test, refine. Don't stop learning and get in the habit of "breaking" stuff.
Jam - Take everything you've learnt and put it to ACTION. Most IMers fail because they procrastinate. It's a disease that you need to stay away from.
That's it. There's no magic to anything I do. I take a method that works and rinse the $hit out of it. It's not rocket science.
I know some purist may disagree with the "Rip" phase but it's how the pros all do it. People like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates didn't re-invent the wheel. They took innovative concepts from Xerox PARC and jammed their way to success.
So go Rip, Pivot, Jam to success!
