Looking for a negative person's thoughts on positvity

Hey Warriors!

I'm in the process of creating an e-Book around the concept of both Positivity and the Law of Attraction. It's going to quite short but it will explain the benefits of changing your mindset and how it can improve both your personal life and your career.

I am currently writing about how non-positive people or negative if you wish, perceive positivity and all that comes with it!

Also if you want to share any other thoughts on positivity, please feel free to do so!

    Hi Joe Crosbie.

    Oh, perhaps you can interview a negative person and dissect to this person the benefits of Positive mental attitude that it can bring to his life else the person is going against the Law Of Attraction (i.e., if you are in negative state of emotion, positive self talk is USELESS because your emotion is already Hijacked by negative thinking). Emotions are very powerful, it is what drive our behaviour, attitude hence results in life because we are emotional human being. That person has to change his negative state to Positive emotion state else he will continue to produce negative thinking, hence negative results in life.

    My mentored used to say to me, You cannot change people, people has to change themselves.

      I think non positive people very much see positivity as a stroke of luck and not something that can be internally generated. Generally IMO those who've been very negative have low self worth, lack in confidence and have very distorted belief systems. As a result, they look out into the world through a very distorted lens and by the very nature of their cognitive processes seek information that only reconfirms their distorted view of life. For some reason, the "good" gets ignore...

      Its a great subject ....

    well not to sound to negative about this .. but most negative people don't think the problem is their problem ..it come from out there ..

    now there are two kinds of positive people ..and the majority of negative people fall in one group

    the most successful group of positive people have had a lot of things go wrong.. but figured out ways to over come and thrive..the also learn from other peoples mistakes and put plans in place for if things go wrong .. the have pr nups ,lots of insurance and skilled lawyers

    second group of positive people are the act as if's and happy happy thought people.. sometimes repeat the same disasters over and over and put a happy act on for the world

    then there are the masses who believe there is some force out there that rains luck or missery down on people .. and they are powerless over most of what happens they seem ok .. but every time they get a little extra money something breaks and needs to be fixxed .. and you get worse cases from there

    Basically, people who are lucky have a very different way of interpreting their circumstances, and therefore experience life in very different ways.

      Thanks Leo! That's some great advice there and I agree with you fully! Emotions are very powerful and you have given me some great ideas! I am going to be interviewing a couple of people who don't really believe in positive thinking soon.

      Your mentor is a very wise person haha, that saying is absolutely true however I think positive people can certainly help get the momentum going.

      I agree too, positivity is something you really do have to try to believe it. I felt exactly the same about it a couple of years back, however since changing my thought process, I have felt so much better! Your description of those who have been negative sounded just like me before, changing to a positive mental state has changed things a lot, your reply just reminded me of that.

      I like the way you worded your take on positivity and it has also given me some good ideas! Thanks for your reply!

      Very unique take on that, thanks for sharing! I hadn't thought of some of the things you mentioned above so I might very well have a couple more pages of content to write on this LOL.

      I agree with you there Jason, I was fairly hesitant about posting it but I could not find another section of the forum that would of been suitable! The advantage of posting it here is the fact that this is where people come to learn about positivity so naturally the audience would be accepting
