"How To Build A Raft If You Are Stuck On An Island"
"How To Signal For Help From A Deserted Island"

Nice. I would definitely be focused on how to get myself off the island. Assuming that someone in my party already has the above mentioned books, I would pack:

- a field guide of edible and medicinal plants for that island
- Jane Eyre
- one of the Sandman books, doesn't matter which

1. A Jr High Science Book: One full of basic info and experiments. This will help me build things I barely remember to save myself.

2. 4 Hour Chief: While I like 4 hour work week better that book is a beast of info including survival.

3. Great Dune Trilogy: Yes this book is real and includes the first 3 Dune Books. Given the size of Dune and the deep story this should keep me entertained for a long time.

..i would be fine with 3 ..2000 page books ..with blank pages and soft paper ..i reallly do not want to live without toilet paper .

with some of the thing i plan to learn over the next 2-3 years if it was a decent sized small island with a fresh water supply and plenty of trees and plant life ..the surviving aspect will not be so difficult ..

so from there it is a matter of setting up messages on the beaches big enough to possibly get viewed by someone flying over or a spy plane taking random pictures or whatever ..

and to pass the time i would fill at least one or two pages with what i was thinking about or some story ...and with those pages that where filled with really negative writing ...they would be re-purposed into toilet paper ..a dual cleansing process

lets just say a few months or a year or two of that..might be a very handy growth experience ..

Yea know you can have more than 3 if you run out of toilet paper Now was just thinking, the pages of a book might do a better job and quit frankly feel better down there. umm, let me reach over here and find out...brb

I would want the following books if I were stuck on an island alone. I would want A Course In Miracles, The Art of Peace and a book on survival and escape from islands.
