The first video was alright, but I just don't see anything inspirational about the second video. Maybe if you wanted to be a fighter, I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any redeeming qualities in a video about humans brutalizing one another.

The words in the second video can be interpreted in many different ways. You interpreted them as fighting physically, and it didn't help that the still images and video clips in the video are that of physical fighting, however...

Life is a fight. You fight for success. It's not just handed to you, you HAVE to fight for it from the moment you are able and willing. There will be speed bumps and obstacles, I interpret this as being "hit"... There were many Muhammad Ali references and audio in the video... Why? Muhammad Ali could win fights with his words alone before the fight even began. He had rock-solid mental strength. He raised himself up and brought himself to a new level of capability even in the face of adversity.

So again; Life is a fight. You either fight for what you want or you don't. If you don't, you will lose. And as the video states, that's the difference between losers and winners... How hard you get "hit" and get back up.

Thanks for the explanation. I get the analogy, I just don't find it inspirational. Different strokes for different folks. I've seen people who view life as a battle though, and the battle never ended.

It's been said in many different ways, for hundreds of years, but minds far greater than mine, that we get what we focus on. I couldn't help but notice some of the battles the aforementioned folks fought were brought on by they way they think.

To each their own though. I'm not knocking you for it. At least you've found something that seems to work for you. I just find videos like those below much more inspirational.

That is great! Here's another, very similar in some respects, but the sound of the motors just gets me going. Even if you aren't into motorcycles, give it a listen, the same message, on the spirit of competition, is undeniably motivating.
