  • Gary,

I am impressed by the power generated viewing this really well produced motivational message. Three minutes. Just right. Five regrets. Concise and emotional. The music, yes the Music and sound effects (audio dynamics) too. Very nice.

The sincerity of the message hits home like a good message (copy) should and there's just enough edgy cussing to target a certain market in the crowd. I can't say enough about it.

Nice "snag your attention" thread, Gary.

    Thank you,

    LLS

Can't see the video as I am at work and it's blocked.

But to answer the question, no, I'm not living "my life".

However, I believe that the life I live, I chose, it didn't just happen to me. This is something I've just come to understand within the last couple of months.

I am sitting here listening to his very crude but effective speech while listening to Armik and I know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing to live, at 35 years old, with my parents while I am getting a divorce.

My situation is authentically me, right now. Isn't that the whole point? Frankly, I am enjoying the time spent not worrying too much about what my next move is.

The biggest tragedy is when someone makes a decision based on what other people think they should do. I am so happy this isn't my reality.

I see my unique future because I visualize it - but I know that twists and turns and u-turns are a possibility. Sometimes, those u-turns bring the most pleasure so the goal is to just stay open, live, and feel joy.

I've found some of the best places while driving around "lost". I love asking for directions in bakeries.

Thanks for the video - it gave me a bit of a boost today.

I live because I am alive.

thanks for sharing NOT this particular video because this guy is not someone I would want to emulate at all

to me someone that has to resort to constant use of profanity is ignorant. It's like saying- I am not capable of communicating so I resort to using profanity for shock value to make my point known.

its like a movie makers last resort of sticking explicit graphic sex scenes in movies. as opposed to skillful directors that can create aura of the sex act without showing anything.

But I want to thank you for the one of Arnold that appears afterwards here it is

    Skunkworks: noun. informal.

A clandestine group operating without any external intervention or oversight. Such groups achieve significant breakthroughs rarely discussed in public because they operate "outside the box".

Good point but this guy is in the dating niche.. By using this type of language he can connect to his audience more.. and that's very important
