our new world Era
Hello everyone, This post is not meant to be a political debat, or in some cases a debat war but I was wondering if anyone else shares my opinion that with all the political views that we are entering a new era, and a scary one.
There are always been opinionated debats, but now it seems the topic are so much more right wing and obnoxious. Just to name a few, gay marriage. Why does this concern so many people, if someone wants to get married to the same sex does it affect your life, not likely so don't worry about it. Who are you to control what someone else can do because of your own beliefs. Its very similar to religion. If you don't believe in one particular religion, thats fine, but it does not give you the right to ban that religion becuse you don't like it. There is some religion that blames gay's for soldiers who are killed in the war, they claim that gods punishment for gays are to kill soldiers. You can't get more disgrasful than to picket a funeral for someone who paid with their life to protect you. As I say IF YOUR NOT GOING TO STAND BEHIND OUR SOLIDERS YOUR MORE THAN WELCOME TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM.
Gun control, OK, no i'm not expressing my opinion because I'd be here all night, but I was just reading this crap in Missuri. He the Rep. wants to eliminate all gun control laws including federal laws in Missuri. So this means if a law enforcement agency including the FBI attempted to enforce any type of gun laws, he proposes they be charged with a fellony with a punishment up to 4 years in prison. He propses that any politition who advacates any gun restrictions be also be sentanced to a prison term.
REALLY, how can someone even think about this, and publicly suggest something like this. He calls it prinicible, I call it representing the level of IQ people have that support this.
I keep thinking of history on how similar this type of opinion parallels comunisim, the Nazi way of government or how the civil way started. Nothing is perfect, but the idea this Rep. brought to the table is not even close to sanity.
my whole point in thie rant is that I think we are heading into a new era of living that is not so good. When the consitution was created it was intended to have the bility to evolve as the world evovles. The right to self defense was created when at the time musket guns were the gun of choice rather than assault weapons.
