How does one fine a mentor in this business?

I am looking to grow at my pace and looking for a mentor that maybe can help me along. My CFO (wife) is fairly strict with the money, but I am able to do some dabbling.

Looking for freedom and perhaps a mentor can help me along!

    there are a few good people about-depending on your current stage of development, the following names are all good, reputable teachers who live their teachings, not just theory jocks:
    Alex Jefferies
    John Thornhill
    Michael Cheney

    Look for reviews. Look for content from the coach so that you can decide whether this individual has the personality you want to learn from.

    Talk to their past clients.

    Don't jump into anything. Get facts first.
