What Is The Key To A Sale?

Do you agree with the following?

We must offer someone something that is in his self-interest: . . . a method by which he can feel fulfilled. Otherwise, the prospect will not agree to the exchange of what you are offering for his money.

Why not?

Because that prospect does not have to buy. The individual will only buy if he wants to. And he'll want to if the transaction profits him in some way!

Yes, you have to give exceptional value and also love/really like what you do!

Sometimes the prospect doesn't really know what he gets UNTIL he gets it. Thats where Curiosity and Greed comes in. If you think about it, they are the roots of the 'Shiny Object Syndrome'. Bottomline is if you have a convincing enough sales page that intrigues people...heck they might just get it because they think they would miss out on something if they don't.

  • The key to a sale is qualification and changing the buyer seller dynamic so that you are not so much as trying to sell to the person, but allowing them to buy the product and even sell themselves to you as a prospect.

Yes true. It is always been about the market- knowing what will make them agree and be 'confident' to buy from you.

I believe that a transaction only occurs when the buyer gets something more valuable than the price he pays.

If the person thinks that your product will solve his problem for him and sees the value in it, he will have no problem to take out his credit card and buy from you.

For anyone in sales, or who needs to sell something to make their business work... I HIGHLY recommend checking out Harry Browne's Secret of Selling Anything.

It's a short read... but it literally changed my entire approach to selling and marketing.

It singlehandedly trained me to look at the prospect/market and find out how I can help them get what they want... every single time I either wrote an email, Google Ad, sales letter, etc....

I mean, it is true that we are ALL selfish. It is what it is... we buy what we want or what will solve a problem we have.

In my 13 years of marketing online, I've had the best success by focusing my marketing on solving problems that others have... and then trying to position myself as the best solution.

Because like the OP said, we all have choices... so why buy from one and not the other.

That's why you have to distinguish yourself someway... by being different/better/unique, etc...

Me personally, I've been able to distinguish myself by just giving away an overwhelming amount of valuable info, for free, which has helped me tenfold.

But again, it all comes back to giving people what they want... and what they're already motivated to do. Then, you just have to present your product/service as their best option.

Never try to create that motivation... you'll go broke, instead, just give them what they want and try to stand out as the best one to do it.

The hardest part of selling is figuring out the prospect. Once you know them, understand, know how they think and what they think, then it's easy.

Selling is about giving people what they want while you get what you want.

This will apply, but it doesn't always have to be the case. You can offer a product and convince your client to buy it. But you have to convince him that this is the right product for him. Break rule number 1 professionally.

People buy things which help them in doing something. Also how much worth a product is also is considered before buying something. These things should be kept in mind.

We must offer someone something that is in his self-interest, that's the right point. People spend money on things only if they desire for it or need it. But special offer is exceptional and greedy people always behind these offers.

The most important key for skill ?

    YOU and ME the seller.

A good seller wants to give his customers great value for money, but somehow falls short of great. Good value sells okay, great value makes you and me rich!

thinking about the buyer ? I believe that the market is always fair, there are loads of buyers for the right high value product or service.

    My 2 cents ....
