The REAL "Secret" of Think and Grow Rich.

My Dear Warriors,

I've been thinking about this for a while. I wasn't sure whether I should post this or not...
but I think that it might help some people that are "just on the edge" of "getting it"...

In all my years since joining the Warrior Forum, in all my years since I first started
marketing, and in all my years since I had my first taste of success, I had still never read
Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich.

... Until about two weeks ago.

Anyway, as I was reading it, the "secret" immediately stood out. Probably about 1/3 of the
way through I grinned and thought to myself, "well, that's what I've always said."

I even searched around after to try to see who else has talked about it... couldn't find
anything.

Granted, I saw a LOT of people who gave solid advice that the book mentions (don't give
up, believe in your goals, remember that you have to fail, etc.)...

I also saw a lot of people bring up the law of attraction. That is more in line with the
secret...

Finally, I've seen people say that the secret is that your thoughts affect who you are and
what your life is... that is even more in line with it... but not it.

I called up a friend/mentor of mine and discussed my little epiphany with him to see his
thoughts (I thought if anyone knew the secret, it would be him). He was going to be in LA
(lives in NY) that weekend and told me to wait until he was there to discuss it.

That weekend, we sat down and got dinner in Malibu and discussed it. He asked me what
my realization was and when I told him he smiled and hugged me harder than I've ever
been hugged before. He then ordered a bottle of champagne, toasted with "Your life has
just started" with a smile, and then continued on with his dinner.

He and I didn't discuss the secret or Hill from that point on. It was as if it never
happened... except the champagne we were drinking.

So, back to before to the epiphany-- I wanted to see who else here has had that grin and
"that's what I've always said" too.

Second off, if anyone here is "on the fence" about what the true secret is... here is my
attempt to guide you in the right direction.

1) Hill states "If you are ready for the secret, you already possess one half of it,therefore,
you will readily recognize the other half the moment it reaches your mind."

This has to do with your EXPERIENCES and how they will affect your understanding and
analysis of his stories and his suggestions to you. This does NOT have to do with you
being ready to be successful.

2) Hill says that, in order to take advantage of the secret, you need to be extremely
specific in your thoughts... and you need to continue that until you can "see" exactly what
you want for yourself in vivid detail.

3) The reason that you can't hear it DIRECTLY is because you really DO need to come to
the realization yourself... or else it will not just lack impact... but it just wont make sense.

In the same way that, when you went through your first break up, you needed to realize
YOURSELF that things would be ok-- no amount of people saying not to worry would make
sense or make a difference to you.

4) My own bit of info for you regarding the secret: It isn't WHAT you should do or HOW
you should do it... It is WHY the suggestions he make work... and WHY your experiences
are so important to you recognizing the secret.

I sincerely hope that this has helped at least one person reach that epiphany.
