I've read this message from an article. It goes like this...

FEAR
====

97% of burlar alarms that police respond to are false.

So it is with burglar alarms, so it is with our lives.

Most of what alarms us and what fear never happens and is

False
Evidence
Appearing
Real

    Yes I agree with you most the time it is "false evidence appearing real", but it is all happen in our mind because of our current belief system. When we have a clear belief system there won't be any false evidence.

      Another great quote on fear....

      Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy ~ Dale Carnegie

    I definitely disagree with this one. I am not of the kind that believes that fear is simply an illusion. There is a reason why we fear. There is a fear factor to being an entrepreneur, and there is a fear factor to being into IM. These are not proven methods of gaining income - or rather, the likelihood of missing on income is higher than in a 9-5, for example.

    It is not that fear is simply an illusion. People can often cite real life examples that form the basis of their fears.

    It is that fears cannot be allowed to become deterrents. While it is true that entrepreneurship is riskier, if the entrepreneurial life is what you want, then you have to take that risk. Challenge the fear and overcome it.

    I think Internet entrepreneurship is reduces that kind of fear because there's less initial capital investment, therefore less risk.

  • Jay, good reminder about what troubles most folks: fear. Like death, it's a really good topic to discuss because to understand fear is to dissolve fear.

    Thank you for your post.

    I found an interesting graphic on Facebook that says: "FEAR: You have two choices: Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise."
