What Was Your First Sale?

Somewhere along the line you became very interested in selling stuff. More than likely you had some kind of interesting experience that showed you the power of selling for profit.

Can you recount any interesting circumstances that occurred to you which became the inspiration that keeps you selling to this day?

My first ever "income" was $0.23 and was on a motorcycle related website where someone clicked on a Google AdSense ad.

Now when it comes to actual sales themselves, my first ever sale was an MP3 player on Amazon.

I built a site that was ranking for the keyword "MP3 Players for Kids" and just shared a few MP3 players that I thought would be cool for kids to have (instead of a smart phone, ipod, etc.) moreso just cheap kid friendly mp3 players.

That site went on to be one of my more successful sites when I was starting out and helped me come up with the idea to get into the HVAC industry because someone went to the site and bought an evaporative cooler after they had clicked on my ad which made me $20+ alone.

My biggest sale (income affiliate wise) was for an apartment. I received $500 (4% of the yearly rent) every time someone mentioned my name and moved in.
