How Do You Keep In Touch With Your Customers?

I got to thinking about all the ways people have invented to stay in touch with each other and stay informed socially like news papers, magazines, radio, television. Then there are all the ways the Internet has been improvised to keep people in touch with each other in uniquely civil formats.

As Internet Marketers we may or may not have developed or even used marketing lists of people who are within our “particular field of influence” on the Web. It could be you have developed a large email list of acquaintances you could eventually market products to. Perhaps you are a really good blogger who has a similar following.

My question is do you keep in touch with your potential clientele through a preened email list, or through blogging, social media like Facebook or what? I would like to know what medium you are most heavily vested in right now keeping in touch with your customers.

Very important to be in touch with your present and potential customers. A dedicated support means you get their respect.
I personally use this forum to get in touch with them and also through emails.

    • Thanks you all. I kind of suspected email would play the lion's share of staying in contact with your customers.

Zuckerberg announced today he wants to see the entire world population on FaceBook: so we know what direction staying in contact with clients is headed.

And then, there is blogging, yes, all kinds of blogging. Why you could consider the very writing within this thread a form of blogging is it not? Anyway, cheers to you all and blessings of wealth and health to you too.

Business is all about customers. So keep a healthy relation with your customers. Once they have bought something from you – product or service, collect their personal information ( specially the contact details). Then after some time ( a month or so, depending on the nature of the product) call or mail them to ask whether they are doing well or not. Provide them your customer service contact details so that they can approach them at any time. But it is your duty to contact them at regular interval to ask them about the current status or if they need some assistance or they need some new product. You can also get new customers through them. As you are in touch with them, you can get referrals of other customers known to them. Use your social network pages to get in touch with your customers. Keep posting interesting updates about some new products. Send email or notifications in social media to have a constant contact with them.

  • Everyone loves to get gifts. And when you give gifts to your customers, you’ll express your appreciation for them while achieving your goal of staying in touch. Make sure that the gift is something they’ll use and appreciate, whether you send a holiday present, a note that celebrates their personal accomplishments, or some other token that lets people know that you value their business.

Different people use different techniques to stay connected with their customers. According to my opinion the best way of keep in touch with your customers is ads on newspaper or television. Definitely these are batter than any other method and I use it.

I stay connected with them through social media platforms and yes, I send out thank-you notes. Nothing beats it because you can hold and touch it. It creates a different impact.
