PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Today is a special day...

In fact, today is the perfect day... and you know what, you get to CHOOSE whatever it is that you do today.

YOU HAVE THE CHOICE.

How amazing is that?

When you really think about it, you have total control, 100% of what your actions are for today.

Are you going to work the most productive day you have ever worked?
Are you going to make an effort to repair a broken relationship?
Are you going to tell someone you love them?
Are you going to take a day off and go to the beach?

It's all your choice.

So I want to ask you... what is your GOAL for today?

What is the one thing you really want to achieve by the time you get to bed tonight?

Let's make this a day to remember!

  My goal is quite usual. I want to accomplish as many bite size or full size objectives (individual goals) as possible in each and every day while giving myself leisure latitude in the process: all within reason of course.

My goal is just to work. Finish some article request and work on marketing my website. Right now all my focus is on marketing my website and writing content for clients.

Later on, maybe next week, I will look into setting up a niche specific website.

  I actually finished my one goal for today.
  
  At least the one giant goal that I had to do today. It felt really nice to get it finished.
  
  Of course, now its about a tiny bit of relaxation and reward, then onto the next goal.
  
  Not to mention the giant wedding to-do list that has become a part of everyday life it seems, but the fiancee is completely worth it

My one goal for today is to get as much work done as I can today so I can focus on getting everything ready for my daughter's Speechfest competition tomorrow. I don't want to think about work as I'm cheering my daughter when she goes on stage to recite "The Owl and the Pussycat". I work to live, I don't live to work.

  Today is Thur. 09-12 at it is raining like crazy in Colorado. Flooding all over the state. They just said on 9 News that if all of the rain we have had so far was snow we would have had over 120 inches in the last 24 hours.

  I'm in the beginning stages of a three building paint job: prep, paint, trim, cleanup. It's the focus of my day with the exception of posting at night.
  
  Lately, evey day like it or not my goal is to have made some contribution to the completion of this behemoth task. I ask it be a larger than smaller contribution each time.
  
  Today was high ladder under soffit work, scrap, primer, paint. One Round, Two Rounds, Three Rounds. Finally finished. That was considered a "larger contribution". No masking necessary thank goodness.
  
  Point is: something is contributed every day without fail (constructively, with our businesses) as well as that which can be maintained with all the other requirements of running said business and household . . . .

My goal for today is the same as it is most days. To complete the tasks I have set for myself to do. These include writing new article for my site, replying to emails and monitoring ad campaigns as well as doing some marketing. I like to prioritize tasks as well so if I run out of time then the important tasks are still done.

I have recently seen a video with parts from a series I am very fond of and it was something there that made me burst into tears. There was something in there that became my daily goal, so today, like all the other days that have passed so far, I woke up with this in mind:
"Today is life. The only life you're sure of. Make the most of today."

(my daily goal that makes me live today like there is no tomorrow)
