Managing Your Time And Yet Producing Quality

Have you ever faced same problem as I do when starting out in IM?

Trying to get as much things done as possible quickly only to find out what you have done turned out to be crap or not so perfect?

I give you 2 examples.

Building sites and creating quality articles or salescopy.

Then as you go about trying to make them perfect, you find yourself spending more time than you are supposed to. So much so it jeopardize your personal time as well as your time you need to spend with family and friends.

I don't know about you but those are some of the biggest challenges I ever faced in IM.

Though it is important to be productive in managing your time, it is just as important to produce quality rather than quantity.

So the challenge is:

How do you produce high quality without compromising more than the time you should be spending on your projects?

  • Hi Amuro,

The things you should focus on are the main tasks in your business. If you have a budget then perhaps you can hire people to let them do some of your work so you can spend more time with your family. When you are hiring people you don't need to worry about all the small parts, because the people you're hiring will take care of it. You can overview the whole project and put things in place.

    Good Luck,

amuro, creating quality content isn't hard and a good article should only take about 30 minutes at most. However, with that said, who sets the time table on quality content?

I'll tell you a secret because I know where you are. I've been there. I used to be like you until I learn

    * to find a subject to write about in your niche.
    *research your topic
    * find the best keywords for the topic
*Then break your research down to 5-10 even 20 different articles and get to writing.

Web pages If they are html pages that would take more time than using word press.

Don't get discouraged. You just need to change you picture.

Going after perfection is like trying to chase the horizon. Valuable things do not have to be perfect.

    Thanks for your feedback guys.

When it comes to outsourcing, I am very selective. I won't let any Tom, Dick or Harry write my articles. My articles need to be at least 600 words and each paragraph should not exceed 5 lines.

Don't mind spending more $ on real professional writers.

Not just good in writing but have extensive experience and knowledge about the niche I am promoting.

If he or she knows more than me, better.

I don't like to leave my tasks undone halfway. I make sure I completed them by the end of the week.

  • I found that working on a niche that you're genuinely passionate about more or less makes quality content easier. And if making content is what you like to do, then don't outsource it because the engaging content that you create is what makes you the most amount of money and gives you the most satisfaction. If you're going to outsource anything, outsource the things that you don't like to do. You can still ensure quality by giving quality training.

    • Even if high quality is achievable on a regular basis, then next comes the challenge of increasing the volume your higher quality product. You see, even it the ideal is achievable it will always fall short of your forever additional requirements.

This both good and bad. You will have to be the one who sets the necessary terms of your own work effort in balancing that with friends and family. Best of luck.
