How To Be Successful? (From What I Learn So Far And How You Can Too)

One of the most important yet critical lessons I learnt in internet marketing which can be applied to offline marketing and probably all areas of life is giving value to people.

Yes, I know you are getting tired of the same last 4 words I been using in my previous posts again and again.

But like I said before and again, KNOWING to give value to people and NOT knowing can really make or break your life.

Emotionally, Financially And Physically

Think About It.

If no one offers to help and support you at the time you need most, you will eventually feel helpless however great you think you know.

Then you will struggle financially. And eventually these financial woes will cause you to lose or gain weight and ultimately fall sick and eventually resulting in death from either sickness or suicide.

Although I have yet to meet anyone like that, I have seen that in media coverage through Yahoo News and real-life TV documentaries time and time again.

And old people – especially in their retirement age – are most vulnerable to these especially when their children left them to lead their own lives after marriage.

They become lonely. If they do not save enough $ and keep depending on their children, their problems could be compounded emotionally, financially and physically.

So what do I mean by giving value?

Imagine if you have a problem. Any problem whether it is your family, school life, work, finances, health or even girl/boyfriend problem.

What do you do?

Normally as a child and even adult, you go to your family and friends. Then they offered all kinds of advice.

Which might not sound helpful even though they think it is.

Then somebody – can be your parents, a close friend or even girlfriend – offered you advice.

You get touched emotionally, become dependable and even fall in love with that person if he is of opposite sex because he helped you at the time you needed the most.

And you know what?

Other people around him will feel EXACTLY the same way as you. They also go to that person for help. And if that person can help others the same way he helped you, they will also feel touched and be in love with that person.

They also see that person as the go-to-person they can trust and rely upon. Then they recommend THEIR family and friends whom some will even pay for the advice and help they need.

As a result that person will become successful.

Emotionally, Financially And Physically

Because he spend so much time helping others and others depending on him, you might be left alone if you are an introvert, obsessed with doing your own stuff, not sociable enough and people don't really understanding you.

Unless this person – who helped you – offered to share with you his or her wealth or even better still, teach you how to help others.

The same way he helped you.

I suppose this is how sales and marketing came about. Or even how network marketing came about.

Giving value as in helping and treating people the way you like to be treated.

On these questions:

1. Why are some people more successful than others?

2. Why are they making more $ than others?

Hope you find this info successful and share with your family and friends.

I can relate to what you're saying. I am an introvert. I don't hang out with a lot of people and most of my vacant time is spent at home. lately I feel like losing connection with my friends since I can't go along with them during their outings.

I guess my mistake is not making an effort to keep the bond, the friendship. Now who will I blame every time I feel being left out?

Than, why mother Teresa wasnt richest person in world? Why microsoft ties every windows to one machine and charge money for every other machine?

I think its balance between two. You have to provide value, but at same time you have to get something out of it. I might be wrong, but providing value is only one side of coin.

This is awesome, thank you. I totally agree 100% that giving value to people always comes first, and once you put helping others first, the money will eventually come.

Same goes with me, I never get tired of those four words. It's very important to give value to people, not just in business but in our personal lives as well. I used to be an introvert, too and prefer to spend most of my time alone but I started to feel that I've been missing a lot of things. It still goes to show that no man is an island and we need people in our lives no matter how strong we are.
