What's Your Battle Cry?
What do you stand for? And what are you willing to do for that?
A battle cry is something within you saying, "Here is what I stand for and I'm willing to fight for it."
-King Leonidas
It doesn't need to be as dramatic as the movie 300.
A battle cry is there to give you purpose. To give you a reason.
Was there ever a point in your life where you couldn't wait to wake up? Maybe it was for your wedding, your birthday, or a trip you were looking forward to go on. Where you were so excited to wake up that you jumped out of bed like lightning, when's the last time you jumped out of bed with that much passion for the day?
This is why you need to give yourself a battle cry. A battle cry needs to be a reason.
It needs to be something your willing to fight for.
A battle cry is so detailed and compelling that you can't help but be alive every morning, afternoon, or night.
It shouldn't be "I want to lose weight!"
It should be something like this: "I'm about to exercise because I want more energy to keep up with my kids! I want to be able to stand the whole time at my son's baseball games!!!!!"
Give yourself a end result that you can't resist! And yell it like it was your last night on earth!
That's your battle cry! That's why your here fighting for YOUR LIFE. Fighting for a life that you want. Now, I don't know about you but that's worth fighting for.
Your life, your way of life, and who is are is so important. You have so much potential and life in you...
I mean we are warriors here at the warrior forum...why not have a battle cry...
What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?
