When you need some extra motivation?

I have my new business planned out and almost everything I need to get it all done but lately I've been lacking the motivation to sit down and make it happen. What do you do when you need some extra motivation to get things done?

If I need extra motivation then I will visualize and think about my goals and try and figure out if what I am doing in the present is helping me to achieve them on the short and long term. Good luck!

I had that problem once in a while but then I sat down and wrote down what i wanted to accomplish in my life in the next five years. I wrote it very detailed about money I would make and what I would spend it on. I wrote down everything I could think of and it took some time and a few pages. Yes pages, and I read it often and cross off things I wrote and dates I wanted to accomplish things by. That will put more spark in your ass to get the work done. You do not want to read the "going to get done" list and not draw a line through an accomplishment by the due date so you get it done.
I had to put pressure on myself so my mind would think differently and really realize how bad I want to succeed.

I am totally going to give this a shot. This actually sounds like fun; and I intend to make it fun. Thank you sir.

    Hi,

Find your WHY and also follow the awesome tips above. Why do you want to make money online?

Do you crave financial freedom? Or do you want to travel? Visualize these goals and feel them into existence, experiencing the emotions of being free, and you will almost always be motivated.

Keep at it, visualize, and you will get it....after much inspired action too of course

    All the best!

You should sit down and complete it with no motivation, and let your motivation build as you start doing it. Motivation is only short term, but the stronger your discipline gets, the easier it will be to accomplish anything, at anytime

I put things in perspective. It is my belief that if you're lackig in motivation for something, you're choosing the wrong ventures. If you can't motivate yourself in your current niche, project or venture, quit while you're ahead.

If you're truly passionate about something you don't need motivation.

  • First you begin to suspect you are frightened of the very close culmination of your work and the results it will yield. I don't blame you. I can relate because we have almost all gone through this effect.

Once you realize what is at the bottom of your motivation evaporating, you will probably reinforce your efforts to do what you must: follow through. Good luck.

Once you have done everything you can do on a project, then you have to actually launch the thing and see if it flies. Which it may or may not do. That's the bit that is scary I think. It's like feeling caught between fear of success and fear of failure. Fear of change.

I think there is benefit in accepting that this is how you feel, but you need to push on with the project anyway. Step over the buckets full of fear and put yourself out there. Easier said than done. But it is the only way you are going to get on.

    Best wishes,

    Ruth
