The Easiest Way to Release Stress!

Everyone has a stressful situation at one time or another in life, but with the situation does not mean you have to internalize stress if you feel like you just want to escape.

There are ways to reduce and often reduce feelings of stress so it does no harm to your body or mind , and one of the easiest ways to reduce stress is to move .

Before doing anything else, whenever a stressful situation occurs, take three breaths very Deeps to release tension in the neck and shoulders and take five minutes to act instead of react.

Music is an excellent way to reduce and relieve stress . If possible just turn on the radio and dance . If you want to start exercising in a DVD and perform music.

Music creates fun and usually there is enough variety that everyone has something to choose from. Whether the hits of the 60s , hard rock or classical and everything else , music is enjoyed by the majority of people and you get more music can make you feel much younger.

Meditation, or mindfulness, only takes 15 to 30 minutes a day, which is possible even in a packed schedule

By turning away from the Internet and shutting off our cellphones, we can at least block some of the channels from which stress can reach us

Bananas are a great food for easing stress. Going for a walk is also good. Meditation and deep breathing are great, as has already been mentioned.
Have a relaxation massage to loosen those tight knots causing those headaches and pain in your neck.
Break your routine to reduce stress. There's nothing worse than sitting at your computer for hours on end.

All really awesome tips up above. Meditation is huge as is just taking a walk.

I have found that giving yourself a massage really helps. "Not that kind of massage". But try to just give yourself a quick neck, scalp, and face rub the next time you are stressed. We hold a lot of our emotions and cortisol(stress hormone) in our tissues and muscles. So by breaking all that up and letting the blood stream take it away, we can actually feel much better.

      Hope that helps, take care!

it depends on the stress .

i find the words f$%^ it very stress reducing

someone cuts my of ..*shrug shoulder say f it ..
there is a ton of stuff we as americans stress out about that most human beings don't .
so when we run into first world problems .. most of them are really not anything to get worked up about

the words f^&% it come in handy ..about 90 percent of our stress comes from somewhere between our left ear and our right ear .

ok maybe your stress has a different source .. but i am 35 i have had two different stress related breakdown..and went through masive panic attacks ..and a dirty laundry list .

if i don't control my stress and keep it low ..a blow up is not pretty ..and i have a family that enjoys dumping stress on me

Exercise is the best! You get to expend that extra negative energy while at the same time keeping yourself looking good in the mirror.

Good reminder about the importance of breathing! It is hard to breathe properly when sitting in front of a computer all the time. Sitting is just not a healthy position!

I think I will get up, move around, and breathe properly right now.

    Thank you!

I reduce stress by taking part in any activity I enjoy. I may hang out with some friends, holla at some girls (lol), or just sit down and play some video games for awhile. I try to get back to that feeling of being a kid and not having to worry about working.

I also like to exercise and then follow it up with a cold shower and after that I feel rejuvenated.

I found a rather simple way to quickly easy stress, but it requires a bit of time invested before hand, before the trick works.

I was watching a YouTube video where they had a 'human lie detector' as the primary guess. He talked about things people generally know. The main fact is that the eyes are the gateway to the true emotion.

He then talked about how people fake real emotional responses, which sounds like an oxymoron. It was by creating small simple actions that remind your mind and body about that particular emotion.

One of the examples was relaxation. He talked about when he meditates, his position has thumb and pointer figures press together. He uses that simple motion, pushing he two fingers together, to remind his body about how stress free he feels when meditating.

It sounds silly but it really works, at least for me. When I start feeling really stressed, or frustrated, or just the adrenaline starts pumping, I simple push thumb and pointer finger together and its like a sudden calm settles over my entire body; it is a really weird feeling the first few times.

I've found it to be a simple, but fantastic technique for any sort of high stress, high excitement situation. A good way to keep that "poker face" when you have pocket Aces.

I have my own method of stress relief by cutting up and eating apples at my desk. I'll just hold one in my left hand, and peel off segments with the knife in my right. I just eat as I go. In my efforts to relieve stress, I find the method quite therapeutic. It's cheap, healthy, and doesn't require much work.

I'm not sure what the cutting technique is called, but here's a video of someone doing it with potatoes:

I lie down or sit. Close my eyes and concentrate of calming my mind. It takes practice though. But once you get the hang of it, it comes as easy as blinking your eyes.
