How can I have a clear vision

I have a question to ask fellow Warriors,
How to have a clear vision of your life,so it works?
Are there steps to achieve a certain facet in your life with better visions.
What happens when you get aligned to the vision to reality?
Thanks,
YHmuWong

  • Your ability to conjure a clear vision of, say, your business goal will come to you after you have had a number of unclear, wrong visions. Like anything else, through the endurance of many attempts, you win the ultimate prize of a clear and final vision of a successful goal. I don't know if there is an easier way.

I would actually throw out a bit more specific goal setting method. I learned this from a man who has actually become a millionaire doing it -

Specifically, write a goal out. What do you want?

I will give an example, but first let me explain what I mean.
After doing that, write it more specifically as if you already have it. Include your senses - how you feel, what you hear, what you see... Make sure you have a date there as well - if you put it like 90 days out you can keep the focus.

Once you have it written out, read it every morning and every night.

Make a plan, and keep to it and make it happen. You need to take action, but it is easier to get there if you know where you are going.

An example is wanting to lose weight.

If you weigh 280 lbs, and maybe you want to get to 230 lbs in 3 months... you would write something like this...

It is April 1, 2014. As I stand on the scale, I am excited to feel how much better I feel, now that I hit my goal of 230 lbs.

Looking in the mirror, I still find it amazing to see my abs again!

Thinking back, it was so simple to keep my focus on getting here when I knew that I WOULD get here.

To reward myself for getting my goal, I am going to take my girlfriend out to a healthy meal at huhot.

This is one example - the point is to be as specific as you can. If you write it out, you can do it pages long - and make sure you reward yourself for hitting the goal.

    Hope that helps!

There is a quote by a psychiatrist that I like.

"Clear thinking requires courage rather than intelligence." Thomas Szasz

Clear sight and clear thinking both require courage perhaps.

Truth hurts me now the most.I should aim for new dreams instead of fighting for my current dream.Maybe it is time to come to pass.

Wow! What a question. I think the only person who can do that is you. If your vision is not clear enough, chances are you are not convince of its viability and relevance to your life.

It may be helpful to first separate external from the internal. Our external achievements may mean something to us, but fundamentally they can't make us happy. I've seen a desperate suicidal multimillionaire and CEO's of a company, and a perfectly content waiter (who was practicing yoga and didn't want anything else in his life). The key is in finding the balance between internal happiness and external motivation. How do you want to feel inside? - that is more important. The external achievements are just a game - it could be fun, inspiring, cruel, tough, silly, creative, but at the end of the day it is only a game.

Try writing stuff down, keeping a journal that you write in regularly. It helps you really get your thoughts out in a tangible form, and can help you organize your thoughts. It's also relaxing in a way, and gets your creative juices flowing (in my experience).

I started writing things down as it is a positive move. However it seems like I don't really know what I was asking myself to do.I don't do journal but i make a record of positive events. And I saw your other post, I do disagree a few points which it made me choose not to comment about it.The validity of the issue is:- Whether am I am, or not aiming for being a better character.

Which post are you referring to? I would love to hear your disagreements, if it's not too much trouble for you.

Also, journaling isn't for everyone, so it's fine if you don't think it works for you. I think you should do it with a genuine intention for it to work. If it helps, in my experience, I usually write down whatever is on my mind, my emotions (yes, like a diary), I also write down things to motivate me, my goals, and other thoughts I may have (ideas for projects, stuff like that).

        Hope that helped!

This means to do some introspection, but then make a decision of what you want and print it out and stick it on your wall and go after it for 3,4,5,6 months and you will get clarity as you go along.

Think big and dream big is inconsistent for me. I better get a new dream (if possible).

The best way is to write down your goals in great detail. and view that list daily. You must believe that you can achieve those goals no matter how big or small. Read books that inspire you. Keep yourself in a positive mindset.

    Wishing you clarity and success

Wonderful Post! I have been in this situation for yeeears.

I learned something from Think and Grow Rich that I applied to my life and it seemed to work well for me. I wrote a one page letter where I basically yelled at myself for being lazy and for not being where I wanted to be in life. I wrote it years ago. I tried to read it every morning I woke up. I listed names of people who looked up to me that I am disappointing. I wrote a list of names of people who I once thought were less than me that ended up being much more success. It really humbles me to read it and it puts me in my place. It also lit a fire under me and encouraged me to press forward like my life depended on it--AND IT DID. I am in a great place in my life today. I still read it from time to time and afterwards I am inspired to THANK GOD for everything he has done for me.

Taviuss hit the nail on the head with his answer. Write down your goal... and work towards it despite all odds. That's basically it.

You need to think what it is you TRULY want, then write goals to achieve it. Once you start brainstorming your vision will become clearer, and clearer.

The goal will become closer and closer.
