Main Reason The Law of Attraction Fails

Hey warriors, I've been learning quite a few things here and one major thing I've picked up on was that most people struggle a lot with applying spiritual laws in their lives.

The law of attraction is one of the main subjects people are interested in mastering just like I was at some point too, and I eventually picked up the major cause of failure for myself and others applying it.

The major problem I've learned about the stuff that's being taught about the law of attraction is people will tell you something along the lines of

"You have to really want it"

Eventually I realized that isn't true at all, the real element to creating something anything in life isn't to want it, it's to decide it.

You can look back to all of your accomplishments and find this missing element, the element of decision.

It's when you truly decided you were going to make something happen you went out and completed it, the same goes for me.

Wanting something is the same as wishing for something, it's not going to do anything, you have to actually decide that THIS is what you want and you're going to go out and achieve it, I'm sure you can understand this important principle in achieving your desires.

You can read in more detail about why the law of attraction fails for most people here and what understanding this principle can do for you.

So I'd say the best way to actually achieve your desires and goals is to decide what it is that you want, formulate the plan, and just get to it regardless of what you feel.

I hope this clears up some stuff that you guys might be struggling with, feel free to leave your thoughts.

Wish you guys the best

I agree i think the law of attraction is great for the mindset, and i think it's important to visualize your end result when nothing tangible exists yet.

I think the important thing is to take action ( although i am sick of that word, its everywhere ) and take steps towards your ideal results. I don't believe that success will just show up because you think positive.

A common technique used by a lot of successful entrepreneurs is visualisation, they don't just think about their end result they make a decision to live it and know it will happen, and take steps towards it until they get there.

We as humans can be great at seeing but not great at using our actual vision, the creative part of our brain that can create outcomes before they have even happened.

Hope everyone has a great Xmas and new year.

    All the best

    Rick

You can't just sit there and Desire the thing and have it show up.

I suppose by accident you could do that, or if you were an individual with a lot of spiritual training who was very clear in their thinking.

Find the "You Were Born Rich" series on youtube. It's 9 or 10 hours of the very best training of any kind I've ever found. Watch it, and then ask yourself, "Does the Law of Attraction work by just thinking about it?" Not unless you're a really advanced human being, it doesn't.

The rest of us have head trash that gets in the way. You can't call into existence a result if you have other thoughts blocking it. Thoughts you are probably not even consciously aware of. That's the head trash.

I recently wrote a guest blog post for Contactzilla about head trash here:

How head trash can nuke you before you start via @Contactzilla

You have to clean up your own thoughts, first. Having head trash is part of being human. But the more aware you are of these limiting beliefs, and the more action you take with your Desire, the better the results you'll get.

As time goes on, you'll require less and less action to get the Desired result. Think And Grow Rich starts with Desire--but then it's followed up with a heck of a lot of planning and action, isn't it.

The Flywheel concept will also help you:

    Oh boy.

People giving advice about manifestation - who obviously are in the infancy stages of learning.

People fail at using LOA... or manifesting in general... because they don't know how to attune thier intentions with their constant attention.

Intentions are fleeting, whether you're wishing, hoping, praying... or deciding.

Your limiting beliefs. Your past stories about hardship, limitation and failure. Your judgments of other's people ability to manifest - compared to your own...

...All of these things will distract your attention away from your intentions.

    Here's the TRUTH:

Everything you want already exists. You don't have to create or manifest it. You just need to clear away the "stuff" getting in the way of easily receiving right now.

It's not about sitting on your couch - using affirmation and envision what you've "decided" you want.

And it's not about just taking massive action to realize your "decision."

The biggest question you'll ever be faced with is:

Can you stand toe to toe with your discomfort and fear, when your circumstances trigger them, and acknowledge YOU created it all?

    What I mean is...

Whatever limitation you're reacting to... you put there. You created it. It's not happening to you. It's all being "projected" (or created) from the inside-out. When you can begin to undertand (and tangibly experience) what that means, you won't even waste your time with Law of Attraction.

Cut out the middle man (i.e. the universe.)

P.S. This all goes into the difference between believing you exist in an objective reality... or a reality that is subjective to you, your beliefs, your thoughts and stories. There's SO much MORE at play here than the OP talked about. He's not just wrong... but WAY wrong.

I think you misunderstood the message I was trying to convey, Mark...

What you're saying is completely true. Essentially it's all a subjective reality which we live in and project, but I was discussing something on the terms of practical work, not spiritual...

In the end I do believe it's the subconscious decision that brings opportunities and brings change, maybe I didn't convey the message properly, it wasn't even related to the terms of spirituality.

There really is so much more going on in the back end, either way your point isn't false.

I just wanted to throw my own 3 1/2 cents in here...

I think the law of attraction is half the issue.

How you think is a big part of it, but you still have to be willing to take action.

Unless you actually do something, then you are right - the LOA doesn't work.

It is a part of the whole!
