I don't really like to preach you know... but I figured this might help some of you just as how it helped my ex-colleague.
Basically the idea is simple: We all have different skills and were brought up in different environments. We all have a certain kind of skill or role we're good at.

1. Action taker?
2. Innovator?
3. Analyst or Strategist?
4. Communicator?
Not all of us have all the crucial roles to play... Unless you have the most amazing genes which, sadly, (sigh) I don't have. Sometimes we need to learn how to build a good team.... Know where I'm getting at?
Yup, so having someone you can work with (and trust) is essential for your projects too. You can have accountability, etc...
And don't worry one wink about revenue-splitting. That kind of thinking is for misers who are focused on limitations instead of abundance. The key is not to over-do any kind of thing and keep a perfect balance between giving and receiving.
Don't try to take everything to yourself. It's not about over-outsourcing either. I'm just talking about searching for the missing puzzles on your team and making it work.
If you're good at producing products, find a promoter and a website builder!
