How can I make $100 a day?

Jeremy and I get these questions all the time...

"I only need $80...I only need $100...I only need $200...a day to quit my job."

First off if that is how you are thinking don't quit your job. The correct way of thinking is when you don't set limits to your cash generating ideas or plans... You are already thinking still like someone who works for someone else and not thinking like an entrepreneur working for themselves. That is your goal right? To not work for someone else?

Second...we have multiple streams of income. We don't look for 1 magical way online to make us all the money we want (which we have never set a limit on anyway ).

Checks come in from so many places my wife thinks I am laundering money..

When you start making money don't go buy a new boat, car, motorcycle, scuba gear, or whatever...reinvest it...

You know I could go buy a badass house right now no problem...but guess what??...I still live in my little single family house built in 1916.... But I like old houses they have character hehe...but still... My wife has been hounding me to go buy a new house...she is more of a modern mindset then me. I have no desire to really. I am not very materialistic...I have more fun compiling money then I do spending it. I am an oddball I think.

But either way...don't go crazy when you start seeing the money come in...You ever watch those stories on Lottery winners that end up blowing their brains out?

Not to mention the fact that when you first start out and just start generating cash flow you are not going to be stable yet. Jeremy and I know what the minimum we are going to be making in a month is pretty much because we have hit a stability zone I call it. So that amount is our guideline for living now...until we hit the next plateau...(Because we don't set limits on our income potential but we know our current earning limits because we are at a stable level. Those levels change over time.) You have those breakout months that rock...but those get packed away hehe...or reinvested into our business.

It's funny how we don't even think of things in limits... I don't think of sums of money like $100, $1000, $10000, etc... I just think money.

When we bounce ideas back and forth we don't say..."Hey this will make us $1000" We say this will make money or this won't make money.

I guess I just wish people would stop thinking in set limits in their head. I feel like 80% of the people we get questions from have limits set in their head...and they only think in singular terms as far as methods they will use to make money.

Start thinking no limits on cash...and no limits on streams that bring in that cash...

    Hey Don,

    Excellent post!

I always say the only limits people have are the limits they have in their head. It's sort of like I know I can, and leaving "I can't" at the wasteside. Sure there may be some phisical limits that are posed, but no one or nothing can limit your mind but you.

Btw, I don't think in small numbers or numbers at all except when I have to pay for something like my business expenses, but even then, if I want to continue to make a good profit online, that's to be expected. And I only use the money I make to but back into my business.

Anyway, thanks for the post ...

    Mary

I think the way you can make $100 a day is a limit on your potential, but a good goal to start with if you are not making any money.

Now, I would like to suggest that anyone who has clicked on this thread is interested in making at least that...what are you doing to get there? Reading threads?

Take action. Read and take action. Get a notepad and pen...write down some actions instead of inspirational messages so that your own inner desires can be elevated into reality instead of just vision.

Okay, so, what are you going to do TODAY that you have not been doing?

That is my personal key to how to make $100 a day. Do something DIFFERENT.

I agree. I use to think the same way. I enjoy compiling money more then I enjoy spending it as well. Having a set limit to how much money you want to make is limiting, but I believe that not having some sense of the money you would like to make may lead to complacency. If I say I just want to make alot of money with no clear goal in mind then I will just be happy making enough to get by. But if I set a goal in my mind of let's say 2000.00 a week then I will try to find opportunities that will bring me in that much money. And as my income grows so will the opportunities grow that could bring me in so much more since now my money gives me unbelieveable leverage.

excellent post.. but i think setting an amount when starting out is important as a motivator. when you finally hit your $500 day for the first time, you usually know exactly how you got there, it reinforces the idea that quitting your day job is now finally a reality.

        Hi Don,

Would you believe I wanted to quite job and waited a long to reach a point where I could earn $200 stable income and quite job. You said right I tried to quit for last 7 months but could not quit for some unforeseen reasons.

Last week I decided same thing, if I waited the stable income to reach the target, I won't be able to quit the job.... So I quit all at once....

Now I feel a lot relaxed to think much better ideas. I can implement them. And now I can see my online activities are growing.

If you want to earn better, don't work for a boss... Be your own boss. You will never regret your decision. It is like a question of do or die..!!!

Since i got into affiliate marketing i stopped thinking about money at all. The funny thing is that i´m not intrested in money anymore. I just want to learn and learn and learn and build up a system from scratch. That´s my main goal. And to be honest the way i feel right now is incredible. I have no limits what so ever in my head and i only focus of becoming even better in affiliate marketing.

In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins: cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later.

And when the money starts coming i would feel definately the same way i used to.

I actually need a goal like that. A certain amount of money to earn per day and if I reach it, I'll just set a higher goal.

That's a great idea. Goals themselves are flexible and if they are too tough you can make them a little easier and as soon as you've reached a goal you celebrate and then set the next goal and move toward that. Remember to enjoy the journey as that's where you spend most of the time.

well I think you should aim to reach $100 but don't give yourself a time limit, after you do that go for $200, then $300, and etc. This way you are under no pressure and it should become much easier on you.

Multiple Streams of Income...Did you start out with just one until you got it rocketing or did you set up different campaigns at once?

I realize that the most recent trainings tell us that we should not do more than one project until we are good at one? But what if we are not good at promoting the one?

So, just wondering what you will say about this? And any advice.

      Thanks Much!

Thanks for starting a great thread...

I recently turned 60 and had previously set a goal to bench 225 lbs on my birthday. I was getting close in my workouts, but the big day was looming closer. I was determined but not completely confident. All I knew for sure was that I was going to give it my all.

I increased the intensity of my lifts (without actually lifting the 225) and then rested up the last couple of days.

On my birthday my son was there as my spotter. I was doing it for me and probably even more for him in a certain way.

I did some deep breathing and even deeper meditation, asked for help from above, within or wherever I could get it, then said, "Let's do this".

Then I almost effortlessly put up the 225. It was a very happy moment, I must say!

Now, that goal was very important for me as an aging man. That 60th is a big one. If I didn't care as much I don't think I would have done it.

I understand the principle being discussed here and agree that certain limiting type goals or even effort itself can sometimes get in the way and actually block the natural flow of our chosen path.

But there are times when setting a specific or time oriented goal can motivate us and keep us on track.

May we all find that balance that leads to success and happiness.

But one thing for sure a clear cut image helps one to find out a way to hit a target. The people who are familiar with hitting the targets are quite fammiliar with the sense of achievement...

  • Once a great cool guy said that thine own greatest enemy is surely sometimes yourself. I would fully agree to this because anytime I have ever procrastinated it was only myself in the end that I had to overcome. Oh boy oh boy was that a pain in the ass. You guys know what I mean? How you yourself can easily become victim to yourself?

I feel you should set goals not to limit yourself but to feel sense of achievement. Set short-term goals for daily or weekly targets and long-term for monthly/yearly. So target with lets say $100/day and then bump it up to next level and repeat.

I know an easy and fast way to do it, I'm doing it every day.

One problem is I can't find anyone worthy of sharing it with.

If you know of a place where I can share my insights and systems with worthy people, let me know.

If you can make $100/day you can make a $1000/DAY. Ramp up what you're doing and outsource. The first $100 is the hardest. Same goes for the first $1k, $10k, $100k...

Well put I used to tell myself all the time that "If I just make X amount of dollars I can leave my job". It seemed that after a while that thought would consume my train of thought and when a project would fall through I'd get discouraged a lot.

So what I did is started living as if I was broke. In my mind I knew I wanted nicer things but it would set me back at this point in my life if I purchased them. I had to get money off my mind and get it back into work.

Setting my goals where I want to be with business as far as products, jv affiliates, leads, etc... Help to where I don't think of the money, sure I think about it at the 9-5er but I know if I keep my mind on business instead of on money I'll go a lot further and achieve where I want to be

      Nice Graphics.

I also think of money in more of a spiritual sense if I provide value then I am rewarded and even when I was success at doing things that harmed the world I thought I had no recourse because the money was good.

Now I am happy with helping others and creating a good result, the only person i compete with is myself and the results have been better not only for me but for the world in general.

What is money but a tool to get use what we desire.
