2014 Goals - What will the new year bring you?

As we close a year and bring in a new one tomorrow, what are everyone's goals for the new year?

What is it you want?

Why do you want it?

Who has done it before? (Mentor)

How did they do it? (and how will you do it?)

What are your obstacles to accomplishing your goal?

What are your solutions for overcoming those obstacles?

When will you have your goal accomplished?

What are your rewards for yourself once you accomplish your goal?

They stick it out and learn from their mistakes. I'll do it the same way.

Great thoughts! So it looks like RW Biggs is your mentor. It is always good to have someone who has done it guide you along your path and help you with the things you are trying to accomplish. If you just focus on 'sticking it out and learning from your mistakes' it can take a lot longer than if you find someone who has already made those mistakes and learn from theres to get you to your goals faster.

Best of luck with achieving your reward of living the dot com lifestyle during this new 2014 year! Keep the motivation!

The more detailed you get in answering each one of these questions the better off you are.

Sometimes in your life, you get into really hard situations. It's totally different with your thinking, plans or theory. You have to face with them by all of your abilities, experience even you've to change your goals.

If money doesn't make people get through those difficult times, nothing else can. Why did you sit there, make a thread, discuss about this issue ? or just simple is why did you join this forum ? instead of haging out with your love, spending time with your family, children, going somewhere for travel. Think about that.

MONEY MAKES YOU DO SO. And it's more than enough to make you better off.

Another thing I would add is I had the chance to sit down with Joseph Grenny (specialist in social sciences and high achievement) the other day and he went over what helps us really achieve our goals.

It was interesting that many people are misguided and believe it is just lack of motivation for why people give up on their goals. There have been several studies performed to show that is not always the case. Ability or skill is generally the reason why people give up on their goals.

That is why it is so important to have a mentor and know how they accomplished whatever it is that you want to accomplish. You can have all the motivation in the world to cook a great meal, but if you don't have the skill it is never going to happen.

Motivation can be resolved by listening to personal development speaks such as Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale, or Tony Robbins. Skill can be achieved by finding an expert (or the best person you know) in your given field and working closely with them to learn as much as you can to achieve your goals.

Anyway, I thought Joseph Grenny had some great ideas he shared with me and wanted to relay the messages to all of you warriors.

I want to be fully dedicated to my system.
So I can be comfortable with the work I am doing knowing I am doing my best.
Obstacles are 100% in me (some fears, and how fears are affecting my effectivity)
Solutions are to work anyway (thats thread 1) and practice and re-program to over come the fears (thats thread 2)
Feb 31 goal will be accomplished.
Reward will be an emotiv insight brain device
