1. How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
There's no arguing about this. This book focuses on both the small things and also the big things. As you read you will notice you know most the things and tips, but there's just so much in it that you are bound to pick something up. Even the small things count. There is already a book review on this here, so there's no need to go into too much detail. If you have not given this a read yet, I suggest you do so.
2. The Power Of Habit by Charles Duhigg
This book sheds a lot of light on habits, whilst a fairly long read you will gain some valuable insights on how you can manipulate habits and how to work them in your favour. Build healthy habits that can assist in giving you better living experiences. It shows the patterns in your brain and the parts of your brain that are used for habits. Not only can you learn to create healthy, good habits but also you can learn to avoid unhealthy and bad habits.
3. Outliers: The Story Of Success by Malcolm Gladwell
This book details the journey of many successful people that are famous for the work, for example - Bill Gates. Gladwell describes the stories of success in such an intricate manner, detailing the things successful people do differently. You won't necessarily learn how to become a successful person through reading this book but you will understand what it takes to be successful. Use the reading experience however you like, but if there's one thing you will gain, that is insight.
If you are to read 3 books this year, make it these three.
