Do You Believe in Luck?

I hope not.

Smart, persistent, work, combined with mental alignment, creates your life on both conscious and subconscious levels.

Your subconscious does stuff and manifests things which appear to be lucky or unlucky but it is all happening according due to your deeper beliefs.

Of course, unearthing subconscious beliefs often requires someone to go through some form of trauma before they wake up, and decide to change course.

That is why many miserable folks thing guys like me are lucky because I traveled the world for 3 years running.

Actually, I aligned myself, and more importantly I did highly uncomfortable, agonizing things at times to reveal my deep, dark, subconscious beliefs - the "unlucky" stuff - so I could release and replace with high energy beliefs.

Thoughts guys?

Belief in luck is very limiting, so I choose to believe that I am responsible for absolutely everything that happens to me, and I am. My thoughts have created my current reality. Most people unconsciously create. When you realize that you can consciously create your own "luck" then your life changes dramatically. People that believe they are "unlucky" are doomed for failure.

Used to. Gave that up 3 years, nearly, ago and started believing in a WHEN and not an IF. This was implanted by a tiny seed when I was talking to someone on an Instant Message. I will never now forget his message. I just changed the dynamics of thought from the Can't Won't and Will NOT happen train to the Can and Will Happen train of thought through trials over a couple months long and liked it and carried on since those few months back last couple or so years ago.

Since I gave up luck and thought "responsibility and the can and will happen train of thought, many things happened that I thought, back before this couldn't happen, because I now know luck is limiting and B.S..

luck is whatever you see it as. for example, playing with the computer a lot as a bored child, resulted in casual knowledge of building a website and started the opertunity for a great business. you could win a large amount of money and start your home business from there! Sure.. luck does exist!

I think that luck does exist. However, by definition, it is not something that anyone should try to rely on.

Interesting. I thought many more would believe in luck.

I did for many years...until I decided to be successful.

The thing is, most people do not really think about the cause of effect nature of things....let alone study this topic in depth.

This requires sustained thought, and in today's microwave culture, well, that ain't happening

    Thoughts?

Haha agreed. Nothing happens without something to cause it. And every event has probably trillions of variables that play into it. There is no such a thing as luck. Everything has a reason whether we see it or not.

I used to believe in luck, but few years back stared to study lucky people around me. That made me realize there is no such thing as luck. The person who is not afraid to take risk is lucky. So maybe there's something to the idea that people build their own luck

I had an boss that was one of those old peddlers who loved to sell things. He always said you create your luck. He was a big believer and getting out in the middle of a market and working smart and seeing what happens.

That certainly applies to Internet marketing as well. Get those backlinks out there where people run into them and it is amazing how lucky you start be.

I believe in luck as a concept but not as a principle. If you take 1,000 people and put them in a drawing, someone has to win, and that is purely based off luck. I don't, however, think they're are certain lucky people that always get things handed to them without having to do any work. If someone is successful, there is a little bit of luck involved, but it's more about work ethic and the ability to figure out what works and what doesn't.

    Awesome Post Ryan!

    You got it man!

All great points said above by you.

Most people think that others who are living their dreams are just lucky people.

    Nope!

People who live their dreams take the road 'less travelled' and it is called that for a real reason.

Most people who go through pain caused by 'fear', usually look for something else to focus on that makes them feel more comfortable.

Well you said it well above, instead of turning the other cheek to your inner demons, you look at them deeper and face them.

What happens when you face them?

Just like a bully, the situation will go away. But if you didn't clean the negative program enough, it can come back to haunt you.

Luck has nothing to do with getting great results in life.

They say that the biggest work needs to be done on 'one's self rather than on one's business.

Everyone can truly have success in this industry. Everyone!

But most people are not 'willing' to go through any uncomfortable stages. Some will but most won't.

  • Hi Ryan, I wish to play "devil's advocate" for a change all in good fun of course.

Thing is about luck, it's the best way folks have come to be able to explain just how things are the way they are for them.

When we go way way back to when we were just babies in the crib we begin to see the way fate (luck) works its magic. From then on we begin to develop the incredibly deep subconscious beliefs most likely based upon the family, surroundings and upbringing we experienced as a child.

Needless to say, these beliefs tend to be the absolute 'basic drivers' of our life model in a sense. I know I have all kinds of habits from both my father and mother showing up in my daily doings endlessly.

Anyway, to make a long story very very short, at this point in my life I am beginning to suspect fate (luck) plays somewhat of a larger role in the configuration and realization of our lives than we are aware.

Having played the 'devil' in this argument I want to close with one of your regularly pleasant closing comments: "I hope this helps".

    LLS
