How You Can Destroy Resistance to Money
"Resistance" is a word I use to describe Fear for money.
Some people have this image of evil millionaires twirling a ring on their middle-finger, and smiling evilly as they watch the numbers increase on their screens. Heck no.
Others have a more rational fear... They think that they are not up-to-standard. They believe that they:
(a) Do not have the abilities to become rich
(b) Do not deserve to become rich
(c) Have to become unethical to become rich
That's not true at all.
Dirty money only lasts for a while. Take a look at the MegaUpload founder who was stripped of his assets. Take a look at SilkRoad that was napped by the FBI. Dirty money tends to have this unsustainability to it that causes a huge swing-back. Some call that karma.
But making money does not have to hurt.
Money were simply stones. They are mere objects.
You are a narrator of your own life.
You could say that this stone is an ancient relic of the caveman era, and you might even believe it. You could say this stone was passed down 8 generations in your family. You could say this stone was cast down from the Gods to start life. You could even say this stone was once part of Mars.
What I am saying is that we, as humans, write our own stories. We believe what we want to believe.
Sometimes, we learn stories from other people. And we become engrossed in them. The fear of money is one such story.
But to overcome the fear for money, you need to rewrite your favorite story. That's right - you've become comfortable in an unfortunate story about the bad and evil of money.
Stories about the "high-class", the wealthy and the rich.
It's time to stop telling yourself those childhood stories and see reality for what it is. Money is only "power" when you tell yourself it is. Money is only "fear" when you tell yourself it is.
Otherwise, it is a bunch of stones - a bunch of metal - a bunch of numbers.
Nothing really much to be afraid of, don't you think?
Why would you think so much about what money does when the truth is simple? The truth is, you decide what money does. That's all.
Money can't do anything to you.
It can cast the winds, but you can change your sails.
