If you do this... results will come by itself

I’m quite sure that you often asked yourself how can I get to be a better marketer or how can I get more traffic or how can I get this or that!

Don’t you? I did in the past!

The important part about it is I had all those things in my head the whole time and I knew I will reach those goals one day or another.

And that has been the problem. All those goals of mine were end goals and I realized that all my goals will always be there today, tomorrow and next week!

But the thing is without starting a process to reach my goals everything will be useless.

You know this feeling when something makes “Bing”? Yes I had a moment like this.

The Process is the key!!!

But what can I do to be a better writer for example?
Yes exactly I had to fall in love with the process of writing.

That also means I had to fall in love with all those boring things which I needed to reach my goals?

And you know what I did! I felt in love with all those processes because I knew if I want to achieve the end goal I have to jump through the hoops of boredomness (does this word even exist?)

I developed my mind and learned in the process that even successful people had to do things they hate in order to achieve their end goal.

It means to suffer sometimes and to do things even when you don’t feel like doing those things.

People who are willing to do things, others are not willing to do will succeed that’s a fact. And if you persistent enough and if you have enough discipline to go through those times then everything else will fall in place by itself.

Develop the process and break it down in daily steps. Just stick to it and choose a few daily task which you do every day no matter what happened and how much you will suffer in the beginning.

Don’t make excuses! Put in the daily work and give everything you have and you’ll see if you follow up with the process your end goal will come closer and closer!

Having a goal in mind or on paper is important to ones success but you also have to have a plan in place.

Then you work that plan and then you see if things are working for you. If they do, then you just continue and scale up your operation.

True but bitter. I didn't have anything coming for me until learned to accept the process either

    Marco,

    You nailed it there....

I remember one Entrepreneur was asked....

    What makes you successful?

    He said...

"In a world of starters, I'm a finisher."

That is 100% PURE gold, my friend!

I believe a better word would be tenacity. With persistence, we tend to do the same thing over and over again but looking for a different result.

Tenacity is all about finding new ways to achieve a goal when the old ways didn't work.

      Cheers,

      C.G.

Love it! That's exactly what a lot of marketers need! Be a finisher!

    Marco,

Excellent! I recall a wise Zen quote: "After becoming enlightened, carry water, chop wood." The idea was even after being enlightened, attaining the highest state of consciousness, you simply return to processes.

Of course the enlightened soul focuses 100% on processes unlike most people. But if we move our attention to the processes, and detach on goals, results really do come by themselves.

I meditate frequently, take breaks on each hour and slow down each act to be a better process focuser. I enjoy writing and connecting. Why not focus entirely on the steps instead of the destination? This improves your journey substantially, making your job so much more fun in the process, because you are only focusing on the process.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Good positive thread. Useful content that confirms what I also feel about goals and reaching them effectively.
