PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

I made my first sale!!!

I've been an affiliate with a few advertisers through Commission Junction for a few months now on one of my other sites but really didn't put any effort into it until mid-February.

Well, yesterday was my first sale ... $105 in commission! Now I'm hooked and want to keep selling.

For anyone out there that thinks it can't be done, just keep following the advice in this forum. If I can do it, you can do it!

Good for you. The first sale is always the one that you will remember. If you apply yourself, good things will happen. You have obviously been applying yourself! Now, just amplify your current actions and success will be your best friend!

Great job. Nothing like your first sale to get some motivation. Actually, every sale should be a little motivation.

Were you using PPC, SEO, a review site, social media? In any case, keep the momentum going.

Great job! Just a little tip about affiliate programs though. Find the products that pay recurring commissions. It's MUCH more profitable in the long run.

I freelance as a web designer on the side so it was one of my clients that I used to have him sign up for a hosting package using my affiliate link.

Most of my clients before him already own their domain name and have a hosting plan in place — I just come in to revamp their existing sites.

This was the first in a while whom I came across as a totally new web build. Mainly I use Craigslist and word of mouth for my advertising with that particular company. I'm on here to learn more strategies for my blog (Don Does 30). Although the strategies have been helping with my web business too.
