Am I in the right place?
First and foremost, I don't care at all about Internet Marketing, it's absolutely not my thing. I'm more interested in the whole 'self-improvement' side of this forum and the other forums seem to be full of whiners who just want to moan. Let me be clear, this is a post asking for help from those of you with more experience than I.
I'm still fairly young, I'm 20 turning 21 this year and I have a scattered history that can't be anywhere near defined as 'successful'. I've dropped out of University twice, deferred twice (not in that order) and I've only worked casual jobs from the time I was 18, probably totaling a year and a half altogether. So roughly half of the time from when I was 18 was employed.
People I know in my life are all moving forwards and I'm currently stuck. I'm not resolved in thinking it'll be this way forever. I'll be going back to University in July. I'm just looking for some advice on how to prepare myself best to study and to be a more positive and engaging person when that time does come.
Specifically I'm looking for techniques to improve my output. I'm currently looking around my room and it's messy for starters. I have almost no organisation skills. I spend a lot of time on the computer playing video games as my escape from thoughtfulness (I think a lot more than I act) and I can feel my collection of useful knowledge slowly dwindling as my mind is being filled with "watch out for the snakes on level 3" types of information.
Thanks, Max
